Jojo's surrounds the Joestar family, who are the protags, they have special powers, either Hamon, Spin, or Stands. Hamon is using the power of the sun to punch people, Spin is math if it could kill people by spinning things, and stands are entirely unique to the user's soul, granting a unique ability to them, such as stopping time. Requiem allows stands to effect other people's souls in some way, Heaven allows stands to effect the universe in some way. Stands either come from the virus, or getting hit with an arrow, if you dont have the will for a stand, you can either die, or get an Acts stand, Acts stands grow with the user, and are usually the most powerful type of stand at act four. Go Beyond is just weird, and I think it's unique to only Josuke/Kira
