Nah, besides similar names and of course there being darkness the ideas were relatively different. One's darkness eventually overtaking all starting in a village of good people, while the other is the wicked taking and molding the darkness to their whims into new layers of an abyss. Tho it is funny about how similar the names are still.
Edit: I was gonna write a whole edit about how making successful threads is unlikely to happen on a first try and how it takes time and such but then it just stopped editing completely and I lost it all... But yeah, it just takes time don't worry :)
