My game would be full of rich story with lots of interesting characters and worldbuilding. I picture it with a story comparable to a mix of One-Shot and Little Gator Game, but with a hand-drawn art style, like Skullgirls or Night in the Woods. I think it would also be influenced by ds-3ds era puzzle games like Hotel Dusk, Ghost trick, and scribblenauts

I'm assuming a working game, as I can't even figure out how to make an animated sprite not just a lot of sprites all at once.
I would have a game with a vast skill tree, and a large open world. There are two types I can think of, one pixel and one 3d, so I shall list them off in their colours.
Vast, perfection. A huge RPG, with a character that has five main archetypes, and certain upgrades, that change how the character looks; blending them with the character, with some sort of algorithm to basically AI the pixels in an actually moral way, focusing on the journey. Your stats would be modified by these, depending on what happens within. The character would have very rich lore, most likely about being seen a monster, fallen, and forced out of society; and they are going to be a metaphor for trans people bc why not?
