Character concept! A goliath wizard who is their spellbook, and the spells are from the tattoos! Like wings for fly, a tiny pet tattoo for find familiar, the sun for fireball or sunbeam, an eye for darkvision, a family member who died or a skull for any necromancy, and so on. I'm making one right now!
