Vie stutters at the mention of great grandfather but replies, 'He was here a couple of hours ago, and employed me to be his personal barista. He told me what the powers my Pandora Palace has are called; a Stand. He was a user too, so I'm guessing you are as well?' Vie's mind rushes with ideas. How many Stand Users are there in this town? How could Don Lucci be so old but look so youthful. He tries to focus these thoughts and adds. 'He was with another man too, a quiet, mysterious type, and another User I assume. I heard mention of the word mercenary, but strayed away from prying any further into anybody else's business.'

 He nods slowly "Well that's not a good sign for most stand users here. I just came here for something to eat." He raises a brow curiously "You didn't know he was my great grandfather? Oh and stands, you'll seem them around if you are working for my great grandfather."

Vie follows Niverde's words carefully. 'He gave me an address on where he'd like me to set up shop again, but provided barely any other pieces of information on himself to me. You say that he's a bad sign for Stand Users, is he dangerous to them? He seemed very friendly when I spoke to him, so it's not likely that I'd be under any threat, isn't it? If he is dangerous to Stand Users, I'll keep working for him as long as I'm safe, but will warn any customers that I suspect to be Users as well, since I guess my humble Palace is a hot spot for visitors. Does that sound good?'

 Niverde shrugs "It doesn't matter to me. He is the most dangerous stand user I've ever heard of. Rest assured though, if you work for him and he really cares he will ensure your safety." He taps the table "Though he is a vampire. Anyway do you have Naan as a side?"

Vie nods and takes notes on a spare page of his waiters booklet. He feels comforted knowing that if he's valued, he's safe, but his mouth falls agape at the revelation that Don's a vampire. He stands silent for a few seconds, just contemplating what Niverde has just told him, and can only manage to spit out 'Would you like your naan toasted or not?', before retreating into the kitchen to prepare the meal and think about what he's learnt.

 "Toasted please. If you want to talk I can tell you what I know." He goes back to sitting calmly when Vie leaves to the kitchen.

'T-thanks, I'll probably be seeing you around anyway so I can ask you anything then. I'll get that meal sorted for you.' He goes in and comes out again all in record pacing, soup and bread in hand. He places it in front of Niverde and says 'You can have it free of charge, I've got enough money that I can just hand these meals out!' He gives an uncharacteristic grin and provides no explanation for his bizarre statement.

 Niverde just shrugs and digs into his food "Gramps need to learn to pay less. He'll destroy the economy one of these days. Thank you, this is delicious." He eventually realizes "Are you treating me different because of my great grandfather?"

Vie laughs and says 'Oh no, no, never. I just mean that I've got enough cash on me that I can run this business as more of a hobby rather than a serious company. That's why I was so willing to just pack up and relocate for Don, I thought it would be a fun little change of pace. I haven't ran Pandora Palace forever you know, it used to just be a front for my real line of work where I got the good money from, but...let's just say that fell through a bit in recent years.'

Vie thanks Niverde and stretches, the chair pulling itself out and allowing Vie to sit down without moving a muscle. He then clasps his hands together and says, 'I don't have many questions since I tend to keep to myself, it's the best way I've learnt to keep myself safe, but I do want to ask something more related to Stands and less about your great grandfather.' He looks up at Niverde and smiles, asking 'I'm not sure if it's something you know of, but is it possible for a Stand to be obtained through the user being pierced by an Arrow?'

 "Huh, curious. Stands can be gained from two ways I know of." He puts up two fingers "Special arrows, and the stand disease."

Vie nods 'Hmm, that's interesting. That definitely explains where I got Pandora Palace from then, since I accidently cut myself on an arrow belonging to one of my higher-ups whilst looking through their stuff after my past job became no longer viable. It's a shame I didn't keep hold of it since I thought nothing of it at the time, I wonder where it ended up. The office has most definitely been ransacked by now, so who knows where it ended up.'

'I agree, lets hope it's just found it's way to the bottom of a landfill site somewhere. I'm sure it we won't have to worry about it at all, I don't think anybody else would have checked that office. I'd just forget about it if I were you, I do it that with a lot of things and they never come back to bite me.' Vie then just shrugs it off, showing he agrees that it isn't his business to meddle in such affairs since he's just a cafe owner after all. He then thanks Niverde as he finishes his meal and says 'Thank you, I'll be sure to ask him anything if it comes to mind, is there anything else that you feel I might need to know or may ask?'

He commands loyalty, and if that loyalty is broken he will destroy you without hesitation." He then calms down "But that doesn't happen often."

Vie takes a deep breath and nods. 'I understand. I wouldn't say I'm a bad person, but I look out for myself and myself only, and if that means giving unwavering loyalty to Don, that's exactly what I'll do. He can rest soundly knowing that as long as I'm safest obeying him, I'll be right by his side. Vie says goodbye and finishes packing up Pandora Palace, then goes to the address Don gave him to activate it in a nearby building (assuming that it's not just the hotel that's abandoned and some of the other nearby houses are empty)

 There is a note at the hotel from Don 'Will be out for a while, have some business to do. Set yourself up anywhere. If a man appears and he starts asking questions. Just say you work for me and introduce yourself.'
