I will freely admit, I love watching cartoons (not just anime, but children's cartoons). There are some that have a pretty deep storyline. Which ones do you like?
Right now, I'm watching The Amazing World of Gumball. But one of my favorites is Adventure Time.
Who doesn't love Adventure time? It's great! :) I haven't started it yet but there is a show called Bravest Warriors by the same creator I believe. The art style is definitely the same. Looks like it might be good.

I haven't heard of that one, but will definitely check it out!
Yup, I watch Steven Universe all the time, I was a big fan of Avatar, and in general, some cartoons have really been challenging themselves lately in terms of content and being interesting for people who aren't children.
Some cartoons are really good as I watch them when ever I can. As far as Shows go I don't watch Rick and morty, never got into Adventure time. Troll Hunters is good, My little Pony friendship is magic it is actually a very well written show, Trolls : The Beat Goes On, The Ray freedom fighters, Total drama series.
AS far as Anime go I have seen Fate zero, The first 3 seasons of Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online and I just started Dragon Ball Super
I watch Tom & Jerry, Phineas & Ferb, Gravity Falls, Mickey Mouse(the good old ones), Loony Tunes, some anime, and many others. Also, THREAD NECROMANCY!

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
I said no, because I don't watch cartoons, as you explained them, anymore. Is Adventure Time really targeted towards children?

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
I did when my daughter was younger. Now she just watches youtube and I'm no longer exposed to cartoons.

Touche. I do watch anime, but nothing that I'd let my nieces watch. Lol!

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
I have a friend that watches the Regular Show and Adventure time. That's why I didn't know the target audience, lol.

Adventure Time has a few really deep episodes, a couple actually made me cry. But they are included on the "Kids" section of Hulu.
A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
I can understand that. The ending of Yu-Yu Hakusho, a kids show, always gets me. *teary-eyed, finger gun to the TV* Bang, you bastard... TT_TT

I enjoy shows that happen to be animated.

Gravity Falls is one of the best cartoons i have ever seen. I also deep into Trollhunters on netflix if that counts.
Classics are still the best IMO. nothing beats bugs bunny.
