The missionary sits across from him. "I will do my best to answer any and all questions you have. The changes came about when we unearthed the All-Knowing Orb during a mining operation, and they awakened once we freed them. The Orb became our leader- Grand Architect Jeeves- and it is through their guidance and planning that we have grown Slateport into the thriving town it is today. As the Book of Bronze says, 'We found our god in the stone, and in the stone we shall find our god's greatest tools'." They pause, taking a small sip of tea. "Our faith is mostly centered around three core tenets: 'Knowledge is the greatest tool and the greatest gift', 'Make friends first, make enemies last', and 'The past is our greatest mentor'- all from the Book of Bronze, of course. The All-Knowing Orb, of course, takes all three of these tenets to heart, as do we."
He listens intently, never taking his bright eyes away from yours. "I believe those tenets you hold are wise. Is it possible for me to obtain a copy of this Book of Bronze? And how All-Knowing is this Grand Architect?"
"Of course- though, this is the only copy I have on hand at the moment." They reply, unhooking the clasps on the book that kept it hanging on their belt, before handing the tome to him- it's a somewhat small book, bound in leather with a bronze ring emblazoned on the front. "This is a smaller copy, more suited for travel, though it still holds every word of the original text. If you'd like, we could deliver a standard size tome to the palace." Another pause as they take another small sip of tea. "As for your second question, very All-Knowing. Though they're not quite to the point of complete omniscience- not yet, at least- they know many things about this realm and its history."
He flips through the pages a moment before handing it back, "I would like that very much." He finishes his tea and pours himself another cup full from the teapot. "I would very much like to come to meet your Grand Architect. We seem to share the same belief of making friends over enemies. Will you please return to your kingdom and tell your lord that I would be honored if I were allowed to come visit your court?"
They take the book back, hooking it back onto their belt before they finish their cup of tea and stand up. "Of course, I'll let them know and have the book delivered posthaste. I'm certain they'd like very much to meet you as well. Thank you very much for your time. May your kingdom and people prosper." They bow again, before leaving and beginning the journey back to New Gladereach.

Nearby settlements have received a few messengers, each unarmed and asking to speak with any rulers that they can. Each carries a small amount of welcome gifts, with a friendly smile and an intent to establish good natured trading routes. While their mastery of the other languages looks to be lacking, they’re quick to ask on bringing back books or other forms of methods to learn.

Before you return to your country, you receive more messengers from the Tayr. They come with the orders to accompany you back to your kingdom bearing gifts. These gifts consist of four beautiful rugs woven from brightly colored fabric, twenty gilded chests containing fine tea leaves, twelve massive, purebred stallions, and silver cage containing a dull brown songbird that sings a sweet tune that always makes one yearn for home.

The messenger sent to Hoeb returns to their kingdom bearing a scroll containing the poetry of Shunab Arsit, a renown Hoebite poet and lyricist as well as an invitation to appear in the Tayr Siyef's court.

The next day, a man arrives at Hoeb astride what appears to be a large leopard-like creature, its snout longer and with pointier ears, equipped with a leather harness and cloth blanket. The rider has a large scarf covering the lower half of their face, with long black hair tied back in a loose bun, braids framing their face. Two curling horns, like an ibex’s, sprout from their forehead, tipped with brass jewelry and engravings. He wears strange boots that almost form a cloven hoof shape on the feet, made of furs and dried leather, dyed red and a soft silver. He’s armed - though his weapon appears to be some sort of strange spear with a hook on the end, like one would use for fishing, as well as a mechanical harpoon gun slung across his back. He presents the invitation to whichever guards stop him, speaking softly.

He dismounts, tapping the butt of his hookspear on the ground as the attached bell jingles, the leopard lying down obediently. The man then turns back to Tayr with a smile peaking from behind the scarf. “That would be me. Thank you for the invitation- it is not often we are invited to leave our homes.” The way he walks is light across the floor, end of his spear sort of absently tapping the ground in front of him. “It is important to establish good will. Meeting those of other lands is endlessly exciting for us, and for me as well. Your home is very nice.”
