Royal messengers riding camels and equipped with Hoebite courier falcons have been sent all across the world. Each one bearing a letter stamped with the royal seal. These letters are sent to the leaders of Old Caterinna (delivered in person by Nahim Azjerban), Amberot, New Gladereach, Frostfjord, Urat, the Republic of Ravela, Rhaogan, Magodale, Wind of the Wild, Aggrotropica, Yorkoshire, Tyrrak, Ward of Valley Anteiku, Atlatius Neron, Oraca, Vacqui, Vonstradt, and even the smaller hamlets of Hadiir, Myre, Nytasha, and Lune.
The letter is an invitation to a royal feast set to be held at the palace of the Tayr. It details when to arrive and the direction of the city, and offers rooms at the court for anyone who wishes to spend the night. There will be a feast, dancing, music, and other entertainment provided, all the finest of Hoebite culture.
The letter is an open and friendly invitation to an extravagant event, but the subtext of the message is clear. This will be a great night of political opportunities, for you will be able to extensively communicate with any major powers that show up.
*This will be a day long event, feel free to introduce or role-play your characters in the Tayr's palace at anytime today. I will be active for most of the day but with some differing frequency, but this is really an opportunity to role-play with all the other world powers that show up. I thought it would be fun to try to host a large scale event that pretty much turns Hoeb into a forum tavern. I also wanted to flesh out my court and nobles so this will also be an opportunity to explore my court and castle for anyone interested. Here goes nothing.*
*I will also probably repost this in the afternoon so that any late comers can be informed.*
*For any and all who show up to the event.*
You are greeted by an army of servants, all dressed in fine, white robes and red turbans. They escort you, along with a troop of armored guards into the courtroom of the castle. There they announce you, your entourage, your city, your kingdom, and all your titles to the gathered nobles. All along the sides of the room are low tables that barely come up to your knees which are heavily laden with platters of brown rice and lamb meat, roasted goat, simmering soups, and dumplings flavored with exotic spices. Almost everything hear leaves a spicy taint on your tongue. Steaming pots of tea are ever present, as soon as one begins to lose its steam it is instantly replaced by a servant whose entire duty is to handle the boiling of the tea water.
Thick carpets covered in fantastic designs of soldiers slaying lions, Bisonboar hunts, raging elephants, dancing women, blooming flowers, twisting vines, and elegant birds cover certain sections of the floor, but there is not a single chair in the entire hall. Behind the carpeted dais is a detailed mosaic of an amalgamation of hands grasping arms grasping hands grasping arms with fingers intertwined in complex patterns.
The Tayr himself wades through the crowd, towering over almost anyone he passes by. His long black hair flows down his back and a short golden crown-band is bound around his forehead. He wears a maroon robe hemmed in gold and patterned with golden stars. Each newcomer is introduced to him personally and he thanks each guest for coming.
Thorne enters the room wearing leather armor and leans against a wall out of site
You notice a very short person crouching behind a pillar nearby. Your first thought is that it must be some child due to how short it is, but its shape doesn't fit a child and despite being the height of a very young kid, it is much too large to be one.

Arriving at the royal court alongside four guards in bronze-and-silver armor, whom remain outside the palace, is the Grand Architect Jeeves- A small, completely smooth bronze orb only the size of an orange, which inexplicably levitates about four feet off the ground as they drift around. They walk through the crowd of castle staff, greeting and thanking all of them with a voice that absolutely radiates warmth and kindness- in fact, even those who have never met them before feel an odd sense of comfort just by being near them. While they're absolutely content to strike up friendly conversation with anyone they meet, they are also keeping a nonexistent eye out for other major powers to befriend.

arriving at the royal court of the Tayr is Lady Bouclaire, Head Laurier and… if the recent rumors are correct, soon to be crowned Queen of Vallereine? Along with her is Celine DuPont, as well as the closest thing Nytasha has to a leader: Henry Wardell. Along with them, of course, is an entourage of personal guards and servants.
*That is not at all what I was implying. I just thought that this would be an opportunity to introduce his character and flesh him out more. If he did attack, he would be doing so in a foreign country far from home surrounded by other equally powerful enemies. He would be very outnumbered.*
The Tayr approaches them, "So this is the Lady Bouclaire, Queen of Old Caterinna if I'm not mistaken. I'm honored to have you at my court. I have heard wonderful things about your country. I always look forward to receiving one of Azjerban's courier falcons."

The emissary from Vonstradt arrives dressed simply, as they always seem to be, in a kilt of pine-like green bordered with white, woven from some kind of plant-based thick weave. As of today the trading post of Adelheid has been founded much further upriver than the town of Vonstradt, in a much safer and more hospitable environment, and opens its (admittedly small) docks to any who wish to buy and sell at its new, hopefully flourishing markets. Traders up and down the river inform their customers that not only is Adelheid open to trade, it’s equally open to those who think opportunity or wealth awaits them in Vonstradt’s newly burgeoning dominion to settle within - provided, of course, that they behave themselves.

Khassahn accepts the escort, though a bit reluctantly, allowing himself and his two companions to be led into the building. He looks to be bandaged on the left arm, some fresh cuts marring the visible parts of his face - Khass still wears the facial cowl that serves as both a mask and a hood, only his silvery eyes visible. Black makeup and thick mascara rim the edges of them, accentuating his natural face markings. Khassahn’s horns are even more decorated than usual, with gold and copper bindings, thin chains and small bells making soft clinking noises as he walks. His outfit seems to be less suited for colder weather as well, instead including a white and black embroidered cloak over the shoulders and a slim fitted shirt sort of almost looking like a robe cut short, tucked into brown leather pants with a couple of tassels and straps. His boots are still in the same style, cleated and worn fitted to the shape of his legs while seemingly strapped on. Off of his side hangs a small clouded jar with a white wishbone, as well as a lantern. His weapons are visible - Khassahn seems to have brought his ashwood crossbow and rather tall hookspear.
Maja accompanied him, though much less dressed up, with their typical silver cowl and loose blankets held together by an embroidered harness, their spear slung over their shoulders. Maja is also wearing the cowl, prayer beads hanging around their neck and their braids woven in with silver cuffs.
The third look to be a wolfish centurian, canine from the waist down with thick, grayish and black fur, strapped with barding that has a strange metallic sheen to it. He seems to carry two polearms - one spear and one rather massive halberd. The humanoid half of him is clothed in a more armored fashion: thick leather and metal interlocking plates, a battle skirt of a knight rimmed with tassels, and an open visor helmet to show off icy blue eyes.
Khass seems to be talking with Maja, the third immediately going to the food to almost gawk at it.
