*hmmm. the parton could be just straight chaotic, and is keeping him there for whatever reason, or its a shared body deal, the regular guy, and some kind of ghost or spirit or demon who sometimes posesses him. maybe its a ghost of a soldier, who, when they were alive, knew bill, fought with him and all that, and now they're possessing this random guy, and talking to their friend, but cant really talk to him, maybe it's a fey, who delights in revelry, and put him here as a vaction or smth, or maybe we've got a great old one, who wants him to preform a ritual in this place, at a certain time, to idk, summon a star spawn or smth?*
