Some wood and rope, for a very basic one, drops it from disadvantage to -2
Iron and rope for a more durable one, allows you to ignore one creature loss and the same as wooden leg
Iron and electronics for a full on new leg, ignore both the disadvantage and the next creature loss
New leg, or arm, they both require the same items :P

Weekly events, monthly events, and yes you can take apart your escape pod /eventually/
But for now that's a ways off :P
