Well I usually have people start as pilgrims, knights, or shamans, and I generally just make people go up a rank every once in a while, but another way is probably better

Let's see, Me, Drm, and Void, are Pale Beings because we were the first three people. And Frunk is a Great Knight because he joined a little afterwards, but has posted very often, and has also been super helpful.

I agree, shaman would make sense, seeing as how the snail shamans are the only spellcasters (other than the stupid soul dudes [looking at you, mister I-teleport-around-and-launch-homing-orbs-while-also-having-them-surround-me])

Making a theory for every Hollow Knight area part 1:

Question: How is it a den of predators? We never hear of prey, at all
Answers:
1(most boring):There are herbivores
2(second most boring):There are omnivores
3(a bit more exciting): There is no answer, the ecosystem is failing, I support this answer with Galien, who we find deep inside Deepnest. He almost certainly died of starvation, considering he is so, so far from the Mantis Tribe door. He couldn't have died from battle wounds, because he wouldn't run away, and he wasn't killed by the weavers, because, well, they would've eaten him. I don't know much about lifeblood but he might have died from the bubble above his arena.
