a small creature walked into the town, his white mask-like head glinting slightly, though part of it was faintly dirty, two horns protruding from the top, his body a pure, voidic black, the eyeholes in the mask only revealing darkness. he was in a leaflike cloak, a odd weapon sheathed to his back, comprised of a handle and triangular blade, a few inches wider than the handle. the air around him whispered of darkness

With a swish of a cloak, a figure appears at the door. He wears a brambled, roughened gray, the wizened hairs of his beard draping long over it. "How fares the valley?" he asks, twirling his fingers to reveal a small, wooden pipe. 

*Note: Since it's one of his trademark things, I'm going to use the pipe, but if it makes anyone uncomfortable, feel free to tell me.*

An orc with a cloak pulled up to his face sees the outside of the valley and begins to walk down the hill he is standing on. No one has seen him yet.

 The orc takes a step right into the stomach of an old man 

"Ooooooooh! Watch where you are stepping young lad! I am one of the most powerful people, right here in Rivendell, you kn-"

as the old man straightens his back to get ready for battle, he begins yelling

"-AAAAAAH, *pants*, err- just not feeling it right now, you're spared today, but don't step on me again! *laughs*, say, you must quite a lot of power behind your blows, there are beasts roaming all around the place, you should go get em"

The orc responds. “Aye.” “There were many beasts along the way here. Would you care to point me in the direction of Elrond?” The orc speaks carefully, so that the man cannot see his face.

 The man frantically waves his hands while peering in every direction

"its about-uuuuuuuuuh, *finally sees Elrond* thataway, I'll walk with you, my house is over there, I'm elven you see *pulls back hood to reveal sharpen ears*, not many elves live to my age, a longer life span means more opportunities to die in battle." 

“Thank you.” The orc replies and walks towards Elrond.”

“Hello Elrond, I wish to speak with you in private about… you know what.”
