Some of us (me included) don’t pick up on social cues as easily as most, and it’s valuable to let people know you’re joking. But—can’t people take a joke, or just ask you if you were joking? I feel like literally stating ‘YES THIS A JOKE’ kind of takes away the whole point of it.
