All hail the great and mighty platypus.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

I spent 1 hour writing his backstory, and 2 drawing a portrait of him.
I don't think I've every spent 2 hours on art
I’ve never spent half an hour on art. Mostly because I already failed by the time I start.

When we got a special magic item for our paladin: “Wait, Vondal Ironfist gets an magic iron gauntlet? Goldleaf will probably get a Gold Leaf Tattoo or something. And “Saurin” sounds like “Sauron,” so he’ll get The Ring to Rule Them All! Krulk doesn’t sound like anything. Don’t give anything to Krulk.”
This requires very random searching, but Krulk would get a glaive.

Trying out the "Command" spell on the new Bard spell list:
Bard: "I cast Command!"
DM: "Alright...what's your command word?"
Bard: "STOP!"
DM: (Fail) "Okay, they freeze in place."
Bard: "Does it also stop their heart?"
DM: "Wha...no. Absolutely not. They just stop moving."
Bard: "How do they know that, though?"
DM: "It's "Command"...not "Power Word Kill"."
Bard: "I would like to strongly suggest that their heart has stopped working, as well."
DM: "Of all the...fine. Make an "Intimidation" skill check."
Bard: "18."
DM: (sighs) "Unable to move, you see their eyes darting wildly in their sockets, as they begin to panic. You get the sense they believe your words...cuz, you know...they're frozen."
Rogue: "Oh my god...you're ACTUALLY going to give them a heart attack."

GM: So you're taking Mounted Combatant feat. Why? You don't have a warhorse.
Fighter: You'd see.
Moon Druid: On completely unrelated note, can I buy or maybe commission a bunch of exotic saddles for great eagles, dinosaurs and mammoths in this town?

What if the moon druid casts investiture of flame before they transform? Then the mount is flaming and special.

Unfortunately it does have friendly fire. Also the whole point is transforming into a glass-cannon type beast because fighter can tank for you. Extra cheesy for taking Sentinel feat so you get extra attacks when the rider redirects attacks at himself.
