I have to laugh reading thru these - so many scores above a 14/15. Assuming 10 is the average (mean) stat and using the rolling (4 dice) method to look at probabilities an 18 occurs roughly 5 out of every 1000 rolls ( each die has a 1 in 6 chance or 0.167 probability, so getting 3 6s is 0.167 x 0.167 x 0.167 =0.00466 , yes I’m rounding here and there for ease). That puts it right around 3 standard deviations (SD),(99.7%). One SD includes 68% of the population so that would probably be about the range from 8-12. 2 SDs includes 95%, so that would probably be around 5-16 for stats with the third deviation including the full dice range from 3-18 and scores of 19 and 20 being the extreme outliers representing things like Olympic super heavyweight weight lifters (for strength) and scientists like Newton and Einstein (for intelligence). if you’re trying to to claim a score above 12 for any stat other than Constitution I want to see your reasons for that stat. I say other than Con for a simple reason - compared to any other period of history we are probably the fittest and healthiest humans have ever been. We don’t have the back breaking labor of any generation from before WW2, we have the best and widest diet, immunizations, medical care from birth, etc ( first and second worlds at least) so compared to history we have prolly jumped the Mean up to 12 so the “normal” Con range is probably 10-14. Of course there are obvious genetic based diseases that will drop some folks below that but even then they are probably in better shape today than they would have been in an earlier world.

I agree, but you also have to consider that this is just a silly game, and DND stats are super weird. For example, CHA being used for both intimidation and persuasion is a very different thing. You also can't take the commoner stats for reference, it really isn't good gauge. It also wouldn't be very fun to only put 10-12 stats, this isn't necessarily correct for dnd standard stats but this is more of how much more you see yourself being better in certain areas rather than others.

Probably a Wizard. Definitely not a martial class. Probably an Eloquence Bard or something like that, it's kinda a lawyer-like class.
Reasoning for my class.
Str: Not particularly strong, especially in some areas. I can do ten pull-ups without much difficulty, but lifting weights is not my thing. Possibly a 9.
Dex: Pretty good at fencing, volleyball, basketball, and that kind of thing. Maybe a 13 would be better suited.
Con: Average, I'm pretty straight edge, and I keep myself In pretty good health. A 13 for sure, didn't really think about that one.
Int: 139 IQ in Menza test, went for state chess. Definitely my strong suit.
Wis: Common sense, I keep myself pretty informed and always try to make the right choice.
Cha: Took several public speaking classes. I need it in my profession but maybe a 14.

Yeah, but 18 would be an incredible speaker. 20 would be almost inhumanly charismatic. Just a suggestion, its your character,
Well, there is no set IQ test necessarily. I usually refer to Menza or a similar organization. IQ of 129 would be top 90% so probably a 15.
TSF? Full name please generally IQ scores pretty much follow the bell curve and can be matched to game scores so a 129 IQ would be a 13 in game terms ( IQ is really a horrible thing but it’s pretty much all we have as generally known descriptor. It was originally a measure of how successful a French student would be in the French colleges. We now recognize that there is much more to intelligence but … there have been correspondence tests comparing the SAT, ACT, & GRE tests to IQ and they can be used as rough measures. Of them all the GRE ANALYTICAL test is probably the best. They have changed the scoring since I took it back in the late ‘70s but my score of @650 places me around the 92 percentile so well out in the second SD hence an Int score of 14/15)
edit: yes a 129 is in the second SD but probably more like a 13 or 14 than a 15 but we all like to think ourselves smarter so if you want a 15 ok.

Don’t need the test but you might want to check your score against the test’s bell curve to see where it falls and then adjust your score accordingly - keeping mind that an 18 represents 0.5% (0.00466) of the population (also a game based score is not a good measure)
for reference the 1e tables actually did list some comparisons and the intelligence one used the IQ scale while the strength on used what you could lift over your head (Clean and Jerk) with the number being 1/10 of your lift. Of course back then there was no 19 or 20 but % additions to the strength score with 18:00 being roughly double an 18– score matching a lift of 360+ pounds. Yes the world record is more than 1.5 times that

Idk about stats, but I'd probably be a College of Lore bard. Not even my favourite class, but realistically, yeah, I play guitar and make stories have weird trivia and try to be sociable
STR 11 (I go to the gym and I’m fairly muscular, plus I work a manual labor job) DEX 16 (Blackbelt in martial arts for several years, won a bunch of medals and stuff. I have good reflexes.) CON 10 (Average stamina, I hate cardio and have a decent pain threshold.) INT 14 (I have a hard time judging my own intelligence but I am considering medical school, graduated HS with honors, and got like a 34 on the ACT) WIS 9 (Terrible intuition. I get ragebaited easily and have anxiety.) CHA 11 (I think I’m pretty good at speaking, if anything I have a strong force of will in terms of conversation, and I’m decent at debate.)
Race I think Aasimar or Githiyanki. Class, probably paladin. I think Oath of Vengeance or Ancients. I like polearms but I’d probably have to be DEX based. Unless I went hexblade. I also like bladesinger, or echo knight.
