I will start my turn by getting Wave to change the cube of force effect to the second side(nonliving matter can't pass through) then I will cast hold person on you DC: 23 wisdom save also just to be safe I will use my potion of speed to use the dodge action.

one of the other options says no spells so I think it would make sense that spell can pass on the other options
in every movie I've watch people at least move their arms to cast a spell with wands, but I have no idea what D&D says on this
