yeah, to hide, you first have to not have the person you're hiding from looking at you. if there was cover that you could duck behind, yes you could hide, but you stated that there is none a few posts ago

then I blast the nearest area of cover I can see. there should be a finite amount of cover, so if I destroy all of it, you won't have anywhere to hide

I think you need cover to hide anyways. you cannot simply turn invisible without an ability that lets you do so

Whatever. Are you going to cast shield when i attack you? your supposed to cast it before you know whether the attack hits or not.
