You would have activated vorpal, provided that the random number generator that D&D Beyond uses would have displayed those rolls regardless. If you really want to crit fish though, pick up elven accuracy, lucky, samurai fighter subclass, and a vorpal scimitar instead of a greatsword. Eight attacks rolling three dice each, + another three from lucky (an extra three total, not per roll).

Not with the characters you create in the campaign. I enabled content sharing, and there's all you need for that build in the collective books there (I got my Tasha's stuff from a different campaign where someone has Tasha's Cauldron of Everything).

I'm not going to battle, but keep this in mind: no matter how many dice you roll, there is still a chance you will fail to get a nat 20.

 yes but i still deals a ton of damage either way so it really doesn't matter and i don't think i was going to use the fighter anyway.
