OK, but I did look it up and saw that when doing two weapon fighting, you can use a bonus action to make a second attack for every attack action you take. Which makes sense because otherwise two weapon fighting would be really weak at higher levels.

OK, sorry guys, I just read through that again and realized that I was the one that has been doing it wrong. I guess I only do get to make 9 attacks, I'll just restart my turn. Thanks for correcting me.
just going to say that no, you don't get to have infinite short rests before the fight. I think everyone else in this arena would agree with me on that.
