Maybe we should just start naming all our least favorite series, that might be faster :p
XD. I'm not sure what my least favorite series are, though.
8. Wing & Claw 9. Beyonders 10. Hero's Guide to Saving your Kingdom 11. Harry Potter 12. Fablehaven 13. Percy Jackson

least favorite series has to be The Unwanteds if you've heard of it the characters just feel bland and do stupid things just to move the story along the world building is its strongest part and even than its not amazing parts of the story just feel forced at times

The Name of the Wind, The Wheel of Time series, Harry Potter, and I've started reading Jane Eyre and a book about climbing Mount Everest called Peak. They may or may not make it into the list, but they are very good so far.
Another edit: forgot to add Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on the list.
I can see why you might think that. (I'm the type of book reader who will stick around just for a good three-dimensional character. Not saying that you aren't that type, of course. And if you are in need of a good book, might you try . . .Brandon Sanderson? His books have fantasy, excellent world-building, unique magic systems, AND three-dimensional characters.)

Sorry, but I have no choice but to revive this thread. (I was gone for a few months, or I would have commented WAY sooner.)
Edit: This thread probably wasn't dead, people posted like 2 days ago.

I’m being serious here. Harry Potter isn’t for me. I just find it boring really, got to the 60th page then gave up.

Wings of fire is one of my favorites, but mostly because of the magic system.
