Cats are the physical incarnation of everything evil in the world. They lure people in with their cute, fluffy looks as kittens, but then grow up to become the literal Devil. Cats think that they own you, and only stick around because they want food. Most cats have no true emotional bond with their owners, and as soon as their owners die, they are more than happy to . . . um . . . eat them. (Dogs often starve themselves before being forced to do the same.)
Dogs, on the other hand, have strong emotional bonds with their owners. They feel trauma in similar ways to humans (believing that it is their fault when someone they're attached to hurts them emotionally or physically), while cats are more then willing to fight back and show the humans their place in the family's hierarchy. They are disobedient, not because they don't understand when humans are upset or don't want them to do things, but because they don't care.
Furthermore, cats don't need us. We're a convenient source of an occasional snack, but they really do not need us. There's a reason you see more stray cats than stray dogs. They're one of the most successful hunters in the history of Earth, and are more than capable of fending for themselves on the streets/in the wild. Many dog breeds cannot do this (especially ones that don't shed their hair). We have bred dogs so well that they are dependent on us for their wellbeing, both emotionally and physically.
I hear these thing a lot So if you can actually show some scientific proof I would love to hear it? I don't mean this in a defensive way I'm truly curious.
I know someone(Really well, not I heard it from someone who heard it from his cousin's college roommate) who found a dead skeleton in a house full of cats who were full despite there having been no food for weeks.
ummmmm okay I'm going to doubt that really happened
It happened.
if that has happened then it's just as likely to happen with dogs.
No it isn't. I have a dog.
that is no proof thats just opinion, and just because an extremely rare thing happened once doesn't prove anything. It is most likely an isolated case.
Also, a person you know’s cousins college roommate isn’t exactly a good source to cite.

You never know. Another thing to prove that cats really are out to get us: I know someone who's allergic to cats. If he's around them for more than a few minutes, he start choking. When ever we meet someone with a cat, guess who it goes over to, climbs on, and rubs against?

The best cat is worse than the average dog. This is an objective fact, and totally not a completely subjective opinion coming from someone that has had traumatic experiences with cats and that has an extreme cat allergy.

Now we are getting way out of reason, you are now both saying cats ate a person just because they wanted to and that they ate a person allergic to cats on purpose.

The best cat is worse than the average dog. This is an objective fact, and totally not a completely subjective opinion coming from someone that has had traumatic experiences with cats and that has an extreme cat allergy.
Truer words have never been spoken, my friend. Truer words have never been spoken.
you know this is coming from the same person who said a dog would eat a person too.
No, Third clearly stated the opposite. Next time, read more carefully.

You never know. Another thing to prove that cats really are out to get us: I know someone who's allergic to cats. If he's around them for more than a few minutes, he start choking. When ever we meet someone with a cat, guess who it goes over to, climbs on, and rubs against?
True. I know several people(Including the one who found the cats that ate the person) who are allergic to cats and they all get targeted.
Now we are getting way out of reason, you are now both saying cats ate a person just because they wanted to and that they ate a person allergic to cats on purpose.
The person died before the cats ate him. He was old. When he was dead, the cats didn't need him anymore, so they got rid of the body.

okay well that is a different story, also how do we know the cats didn't starve before eating them as is stated that dogs would?
okay why don't you PM me if you want to but I think it's time to make this thread pure again
If by purity you mean corruption, then I would have to agree.

Also, a person you know’s cousins college roommate isn’t exactly a good source to cite.
