This goblin was found many years ago by paladins of tyr. just before he was about to be smited for being a goblin, one of the paladins realized that they were being humanoidist by instantly killing a goblin because it was short and green. The paladins walked away and the goblin could go on, finding the mighty rainbow of the Dark One. The power of the rainbow made him completely unable to talk or convey this incredible sight
Actually, the goblin thought he found the rainbow, but it was truly an illusion created by an elf sorceress. He followed her around for years, thinking she was the Dark One, but the illusion was shattered after nearly a decade. The realization that after all this time he had essentially been the sorceress's slave shattered his mind. He attacked her, and she easily defeated him, robbing him of the scant remainders of his mental faculties. She then teleported him here, where he would forever be punished and out of her way.
"Aha!" I shout, barging into the room. "I've found you!" I then turn to the rest of you, "Your interpretations were not too far off. See, this goblin is wanted not by paladins of tyr, but paladins of beer! We, the mighty paladins of beer, guard the mighty fortress containing the holy liquor of Xcvzctmbl! This disgusting creature somehow snuck behind us and stole a flask of the liquor. He obviously came here to drink it, but when he did so, the high alcohol content blinded him, due to the holy liquor being 220% alcohol! See how he stares blankly into space even as we speak! The non-responsiveness is merely the result of a drunken stupor!" I then walk up to the goblin and clamp some cuffs on him. "I'm taking you in!"

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
I step inside. "Clearly, being an evil creature, the holy drink drove him insane. Then he must have been found by the aforementioned sorceress, who took pity apon him and took him back to her lair, the room we are now in. The sorceress is currently trying to find a healing spell scroll."
"So ummm....has this happened before to you? I mean, before the sorceress clearly cast a spell on this entire complex to keep the goblin here, in order to prevent him from hurting himself after he drank the magical beer!" I stop and look very proud of myself for figuring everything out.
OOC: Are we going to do What Happened to the Odd Aeisenberg now? :)
I enter the room and stand on my head in the corner, examining everyone's actions with a look of concentration on my face. It seems that I am standing on my head to get a better view of the situation. Occasionally I turn my head sideways or right-side up with the same deeply concentrated expression.
"It is very interesting, it is very interesting. But there are some problems that the solutions I have created just do not resolve -- and I have been looking at things from every angle ! "

"EEEEEEEEK! HE'S BEEN POSSESSED! KILL IT!" I proceed to run Aisenberg through with my sword.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" I rush over and feed Aeisenberg a healing potion.

"Oh, it's a long process, but it'll kill him soon enough. That holy liquor is nasty stuff."
