Zuli eyes the guards, unconcerned. Nonchalantly, she says, "How bout this? You tell me how you travel around without warping back to that blasted door, and I don't slaughter you?" Her eyes flash green, appearing as cat's eyes for a brief moment.

Ugh, I edited a grammar mistake and now it says I manipulated the roll. It was a 20 something, but I don't remember for sure. I'll take the 17 if thats fine. Or I can re-roll.
Clementine, the roostdeer is definitely small enough to fit in the folds of your jacket... lab coat. The folds of your lab coat. It's pretty small for a rooster-deer hybrid. You pocket it quickly.
The bandit with the [weapon]Scmitar[/weapon] puts the weapon down. "Eyeballs? This some kinda sick joke?" He snorts, a look of disgust plastered on his face. He stays like this until Zuli speaks up. He gives a low, confused "Huh?" in her direction. "The hell you talking about?" He shakes his head, and raises his weapon again. None of you noticed---not even the bandit holding the [weapon]Light Crossbow;crossbow[/weapon]---but the Satyr has vanished. You all assume inside their cart.
Bandit #1: 16 Bandit #2: 6
(Lemme introduce something called "loose initiative", that I picked up from a DM I'm playing with, Jusblazm. Essentially, the flow of the initiative is split up into groups. For example, initiative would go like this:
Zuli, Darklis, and Agnomally (tie) Clementine Bandit #2 The Hunter Bandit #1
In this case, Agnomally, Clementine, Darklis, and Zuli are welcome to post what actions they'll take at their leisure. Once all four of y'all post, then I'll go ahead and post what action Bandit #2 takes, then it's The Hunter's turn, then Bandit #1. This isn't a very good example, but essentially if you're all fighting next to each other and there isn't an enemy action between you and another party member, it doesn't matter what order you post in. Lmk if you need any clarifications!)
(Edit: Man, this stupid tag. I'll roll again, and post the initiative order again. Hopefully y'all got the gist of what I was trying to say)
Agnomally, Darklis, Zuli, and Clementine, what do you do?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Agnomally uses 2 sorcery points to cast lightning bolt as bonus action, maneuvering to get the two bandits and hopefully no one else in the line. 30 damage if they fail a save of DC 15. (Extra damage because of elemental affinity)
Assuming they’re still alive, she steps forward to melee to use shocking grasp on the nearest bandit. 27 to hit, and 11 lightning damage (affinity again!) and they can’t take reactions.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Clementine frowns at the bandits “sorry it had to come down to this… we could have bonded over your eyeb- I mean fake eyeballs!”
She rushes forward to Agnomally’s side to use sneak attack. She pulls two long, cruelly serrated knives out of her coat, they are both throughly blood stained. Presumably her work knives. One of them gleams emerald under the filth and is bright enough to be painful to look at. She proceeds to stab the nearby bandit.
Attack: 24 Damage: 11 plus 8 for the emerald blade… (magic item, gets boosted damage)
Attack: 18 Damage: 11
add an extra 9 for sneak attack, then using her wails from the grave feature, she deals 9 necrotic damage to the other bandit. This just looks like her continuing her slash around and through the bandit, like the knives are ghosts.
and lastly, (after an obscene amount of damage rolls) 14 psychic damage because of how sharp the emerald blade is. That’s what it does.
(Sorry, I just had to re-write this three times, I was having computer issues and it kept refreshing and it kept crashing and windows… anyway, let’s just say it kept resetting my progress.)
(Ok, so I just went with the initial order because I'm not in the mood to contest the dice roller right now and it doesn't matter anyways.)
Both bandits are throughly dead. While Agnomally's bolt of lightning killed both bandits initially, they stayed suspended long enough to let Clementine run them through with her blades. They fall to the ground and then through it, disappearing through the floor of the gravel road.
A few seconds after the commotion has died down, the satyr pops his head out of the opening in the front of the carriage. "Are they still there?" he whimpers, and it comes out as "Are dey steel dere?"
Darklis lowers her Flamburge then addresses Agnomally, "Remind me never to get on your bad side." Then calls to the satyr, "Its safe, you can come out now."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zuli pauses for a moment. She hadn't even pulled a weapon out before Agnomally completely annihilated the two men. "You could have at least let me make them talk," she says, grumbling. "Oh well. They sounded like a couple of idiots anyway. Looked like idiots too. And acted like idiots, attacking the lot of us even though they were sorely outnumbered." She shrugs, and walks over to where the bodies disappeared, sniffing to see if there is any trace of them.
(By the way, that "loose Initiative" idea is a good one, especially with PbP. Combat tends to slow things down a lot and it sounds like it would keep things moving.)
Zuli, the only trace of the two bandits you find in the air are gone as soon as you recognize the scent. Other than the hint of rancid body odor you were able to catch for a second, all signs they ever existed are gone. Even the dust in the road has seemed to reset.
After you tell them that the threat is gone, the satyr breaths a big sigh of relief. "Thank the gods." Tank dee gods. "Thank you. You saved my life, and the life of my cart as well. Is there anything I could do to repay your kindness?" They sneak back into their carriage, and after a second the whole cart seems to double in size. The window of the stall pops open. You see many more silks, ribbons, shiny things, and bottles of... stuff hanging from the ceiling and the sides of the shop. "A discount, perhaps?" they chide with a sly grin. While they're clearly joking, they become a little more serious as they add, "Or money, or food, or whatever a group of adventurers like you needs. I will try my best to provide." They pause for a second, thinking. "Tell me, what are your names?"
Clementine is kneeling on the floor where the bodies sunk. She is frowning and clearly thinking about something. She shakes her head and walks over to the satyr, "yeah... Hi, I'm Clementine." Her usual zest and excitement is dead in her voice. "I could use some strange taxidermy nightmare, whatever you have." She looks clearly saddened by something.
They disappear behind the counter for a second, and produce something that can only be described as an assortment of limbs. It's labeled "The Cross-Species Centipede". They hand it to you. "Is this good?" They pause when they see you, Clementine. "What is wrong, Clementine? Can I help with anything?"

Look at that. Initiative's almost the same, but it doesn't really matter too much who out of the bandits goes first.
Agnomally, Darklis, and Zuli (tie)
Clementine

The Hunter
Bandit #2
Once again... Darklis, Zuli, Clementine, and Agnomally, what do you do?
