*yeah I'm sorry I can't keep up, & it doesn't have the same feel when I'm just putting something up then the next day doing it again & just reading up on what I wasn't there for. So I'll see you on other threads, idk how you do it in universe when a character is taken out of this.*
Awww. If you really feel like you want to leave I guess. I’m fine with you replying later, I usually don’t reply in the middle of the action either. If you feel the need to go I understand.

So sad to hear this! We've really enjoyed having you here! But, I completely understand if you want to leave, I can make a way to remove your character if you want...
*Yeah, sorry, it was some fun cuz you guys! But I'll be going from here, it just doesn't have the right feel for me the I have to do it, so yeah, see you on other threads (also I just took a quick break from dndb hense the gap.)*
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The pirate prepares to stab Thoruk with his rapier, clearly surprised and frustrated that you are still alive. However, before he can do so, your sword cleaves him in two. "This is...not...possible..." He says as his upper body slides away from his lower half. Ice crystals form from inside him, growing at an alarming rate. The ice on which you stand undulates, cracking as the water below it rises in a wave. It pushes anyone still standing on it back to the shore as the pirate's body explodes in a hailstorm of ice.
Saeya sheepishly peers at you out from under the boat, "Thank you." She says, "I can never repay you enough..." Her words are almost a song, and those of you who have taken damage are healed for 9

Thoruk scrabbles up, soaking wet, and runs to the door, smearing water all over it. He's still convinced that the water is the "blood of the guardian". (Assuming it doesn't work) he then turns to everyone and says "Huh. Guess I didn't have to kill him."

Nah I think you’re right.
Kay jumps up and says, “I think Thorucks right!” She grabs a shard of ice that came from the pirate, runs over to the door, and rubs it on it letting it melt as she does so.
The words on the door light up, and you notice the last bit of paint on the pirate peeling away as Kay rupee her icicle on it. The door creeks, then lifts like a portcullis showing darkness on the other side.
Saeya crawls out from under the boat, giving a small timid smile. "Thank you, for freeing me. Perhaps...we will meet again someday." She starts to glow, and in a flash, becomes a ball of light and shoots off towards the rooftop just like Thara. You get a sense that she has been granted a freedom that the rest of you have only dreamed of so far...freedom from the endless rooms.
Well, that's it for me. If anyone is wondering...
Saeya's blood would have opened the door too. It didn't matter which one you picked. Though, I will admit, I had to rethink who the guardian was since this room was actually part of a campaign that I've been running. So, neither of these two characters were originally the guardian. I changed everything after Thoruk pulled the siren out of the water. lol
Once you pass through the door, you find yourselves standing on a raised white circle just large enough that you can all stand about two inches apart. When you look around, you can see several more of these circles each containing another group of people. Each circle is placed just far enough away that it is hard to make out the faces of those within them. You also notice that a transparent wall is keeping you inside this circle. In front of you, is a large circular dome. It has no doors or windows, and is large enough to block those in the circle across from you from your view.
As you look around a floating hologram appears in front of each of you. They read:
Objective: collect four relics, cut down any rival teams in your path
Rules: You may split your group, but no less than two may travel together
Penalty of failure: Death
After reading this, the barrier around you and the other teams fall and versions doorframes rise out of the ground around you. Each looks different from the next. You see several of the other teams begin to run and disappear into the door frames around them.
Angelino is going to look around before taking a cheap shot at an “enemy team” missing on purpose, laughing.
Lol
There are two doorframes in front of you, one looks as if it was shaped from a tree. It is slightly rounded and has branches sticking out from the sides. The other is made of glass, you can see your reflection and the reflections of those around you in it. Where the doors should be are dark blue/purple walls they look a lot like looking into deep water at night. You, being a warlock, would be able to guess that it is some sort of portal.
You take your cheap shot at an enemy team running towards a door off to your right. One of them is an amethyst dragonborn clad in heavy armor and the other is a drow who is dressed like a gunslinger from an old western movie. Your shot lands behind the dragonborn, who dosn't notice as she jumps through the door, and in front of the drow. He looks from where it landed then glares strait at you. You suddenly hear a voice in your head, "Try that again, and I'll make you regret it." You see the drow turn and jump through the doorway after the dragonborn.

Angelino chuckles and turns back to the doorways in front of them. Seeing the reflective one he starts examining his own visage in its reflection. After doing so thoroughly he jumps in, saying “Come on peasantry, try to keep up!” as he does so.
Alexander appears, clearly confused, he looks around before noticing the hologram. "Did I miss something..." he trails off as Angelino starts off on his own. "Wait my lord! You must have at least one person with you or...or...well this doesn't really say what will happen, but it will likely result in your death!" He runs after you, heedlessly jumping through the portal after beckoning urgently for everyone else to follow.
You would start to notice that when some of the other teams jump through some of the doorsways, they end up jumping out of other doorways. The doorways that lead to other doorways look very similar to each other.

Definitely not an undead.

That was an excellent room! I loved the creepy kelp!
