You swoop down to get a closer look at the ground below you, Agnomally, and everything comes into focus. After a few minutes of flying about, you spot the huge, waxy blooms you've been looking for; the Protea. You land next to it and pick a bright pink flower off the bush. It's a lot bigger than you expected---it's a bit smaller than the size of your head.

Zuli nods to Agnomally, and (if Verdell finds his plant as well) will also stuff her components into the pendant. "Well, I would like to say its been a nice time here...but it hasn't." She closes the locket, waiting eagerly for whatever is to come.
“Oh hey! Welcome, we’ve got a sleeping basilisk over there so be quiet and some writing over there” Clementine points to the appropriate parts of the room “Anyway we’ve just been chatting”
You successfully find the wolfsbane, Verdell, and pick it carefully. (I'm going to assume here that you go ahead and stuff the components into the pendant, in order to keep up with the rest of the party.)
All three of you (Verdell, Zuli, and Agnomally) stuff the plants into your pendants and close them. The pendants all slowly melt into your hand, black goop dripping down your fingers. It pools on the ground below you, and out of the puddle the form of a hand is made. It quickly grabs your ankle, pulling you sharply into the slick, black stuff. It feels almost like you're drowning for a second, though it's not painful.
You all wake up, shaking off the unpleasant feeling of... whatever just transpired, but your mouths don't hurt anymore. You're in a different room than the one you were in before, but this one is similar to the previous rooms. Firstly, it's actually a room, not an endless field of grass and flowers. It's kind of dark; everything around you is made of black marble and there are very few torches around. You look behind you and there is the same door you came through the first time, with the same sign. On the wall to your left, there is a carving of some text, though it's too dark for you to see without getting closer. Directly in front of you, there's another door, and a huge Basilisk guarding it. It appears to be sleeping. Next to you, the satyr and Clementine are sitting down, chatting. Darklis is standing near you three.
You don't know how in the world you forgot this, but you suddenly remember exactly how you and the group got to the grasslands room. You entered the room you're all in, and were confronted by the basilisk. Before any of you could react, the basilisk looked at each of you and (somehow) sent you to the grasslands room.

“Well… Glad to see your both alright..” Darklis says as she looks over Clementine and the satyr. She pauses for a moment. “We’re you talking about me?” She shakes her head, “Never mind. What’s with all this?” She gestures to the basilisk and the rest of the room, “have you figured anything out?”
Zuli does have darkvision (gloomstalker ranger), so would that make a difference for seeing the text on the wall? Or is it a magically induced darkness?
Zuli gives the satyr a not so friendly look, curling her lip slightly in disgust, "You're here too? Please tell me this isn't just another stage of that blasted dream or whatever we just had." She shakes the expression off her face, doing her best to look friendly, "Oh, you were stuck there too... well..." She shrugs, unsure of how to proceed with that statement. She looks around the room lazily, eyes falling upon the Basilisk and the door, "Anyone up for killing the snake? ...Say, does anyone have a mirror? I heard that was the easiest way to get rid of those things." She rubs her hands together, looking a little to exited at the opportunity to kill something, "Or I could get it while it's sleeping...anyone want to help?"

Agnomally, you have all of your teeth now. Same with you, Zuli. None of your jaws hurt anymore.
"Yes, I am here too," Quixote says with a slightly irritated huff. "What, do you think I am just some Non-Player Character, here only to tell you useful information? A hologram?" He shakes his head, tsking. "I am sure I had a wonderful life before whatever this... is, happened."
Zuli:
You're able to read most of it, and you see something small at the very bottom of the large text that you can't quite see. What you can read says:
"
Find the pendant and break the spell, or forever asleep you remain. For within your death, a nightmare comes, but escape is all in vain.
Trap within trap, room within room, a basilisk's glare won't kill. REM sleep by way of stare creates more rooms for you to fill."
"I personally do not care for what you do, but whatever it is I will stay right here," the satyr points to the ground beneath him, "and I might help you. Or not. I think I have a few spells I can cast, but that does not guarantee that I remember them well enough to cast them competently."

Edit: oof, looks like I’m not applying sneak attack, let alone hitting the basilisk!
Edit 2: would I have advantage because it’s sleeping?

Yeah, that should have had advantage (unseen attacker, plus the unconscious condition).
