"Dibs on the goatskins," Zuli says. "I've been dying to go for a hunt..."
She scrunches her nose, then sniffs the air, "I hope the goats are alive..."
Perception: 24
Using your hyper sense of smell you scent the smell of a recent kill in the distance, it smells like a mix of different game, horse, goat, and deer. In the opposite direction you can smell sweet fruit and mead, and the smell of a fire and cooked meat.
As you follow Zuli you also catch the smell of a fire roasting meat, as well as animal carcasses, although the smell isn’t as clearly defined for you as for Zuli
Quixote, still relatively shaken up from the basilisk encounter, stands up and brushes himself off. He walks through the door after Agnomally. Upon initially seeing the forest and clearing, he breathes in and smiles. "Finally, real wilderness." But he takes a second glance at the scenery around him and mutters, "...nevermind, this is just as creepy as the last room." He looks around, trying to see if he can find an exit, or a hint on where to go next. If he doesn't find anything, he'll follow Agnomally to the water sounds.

I'm gonna follow Agnomally to the water sounds.

Arthilas, a bit confused about the recent events after the basilisk fight, follows the others and will cast detect magic.

You don’t notice any magic, but the symmetry of the landscape is definitely suspicious. I assume you all are going to follow Zuli?
Yep. Verdell will ride at the back of the group, using his slightly elevated position to watch for any sign of danger. (Perception: 24)
Using your height advantage and Zuli’s scent you wander your way through the strange woods without a hitch. After some time you spot a cart in the distance made of old gnarled wood unlike anything you’ve seen before. Hanging all over the cart are the skins of animals and preserved meats. You can see someone with a blanket draped over them sitting in the grass, their back turned to you. They appear to be butchering a deer.
Arthilas follows the others as well. In the forest, he has fun doing parkour, jumping over large rocks and falling trees, rolling beneath low-hanging branches, climbing and performing other athletic stunts. Once the others mention the cart in the distance, he slows down though and becomes more careful, trying to stay close to them.
Zuli walks up to the figure unconcerned, “Hello, can you tell us anything about the strange message we found back there? Are you the one who wants the goat skins?”

As you approach you draw no attention to yourself they seem to be unconcerned at your approach. You round in front of them and see a older woman wrapped in blankets flecked with blood from the deer.
”Message? No, I have seen nothing of the sort. All I see is the occasional animal and endless woods. As for the goat skins, what use would I have for them? I have plenty already” She says this as she gestures to the cart laden with goat meat and skins.

Unfortunately there is none of the usual debris you are accustomed to in a forest, evenly spaced trees, even ground, even grass, nothing else. It looks almost fabricated, very artificial.

"Well, if we're spending the next eternity together in this cursed forest, I'd love to make your acquaintance." The satyr steps forward even more and sticks out his hand. If taken, he'll shake it lightly and bow. "My name is Quixote. And you are?"

She doesn’t take your hand, she never stops skinning the deer in fact. “Heh, my name is a funny thing. In my travels, meeting people, forgetting, aging, and eventually winding up here my name has changed and been lost many times. You can call me granny, pelt dealer, hunter, demon, fey, or whatever else strikes your fancy”

"What is this place?" Darklis asks the woman.
“Honestly I am not quite sure myself, I just spend forever here in these cursed woods”
“May we have 4 goatskins?” Agnomally asks. “Since you have plenty?”

"Cursed. I've been trapped here for years longer than i can remember, it's only wandering and trees for me"
