Upon opening the pendant again, there’s still nothing. You wince a little when you bite your finger, and put a little bit of blood in the center of the pendant. The void around you slowly changes. The space turns a deep blood red, and the floor beneath you slowly starts flooding with blood, but the flooding stops after a few inches. The smell of iron fills your nostrils.
Zuli:
Nothing seems to happen. That is, until you look up, and notice the floor you’re standing on is now covered in a solid mat of tangled hair. You can hear someone wince quietly somewhere near you, along with another person whimpering.
Other than the dead body of the basilisk you just killed, there's some text carved into the wall next to you. The few torches hung around the room don't provide enough light for you to read it without approaching the carving itself. Behind the basilisk's body, the doorway out of this room stands unguarded. Somewhere near you, you can hear a slight whimpering noise, but you can't see whoever's making it.

“Hello?” Agnomally calls in the direction of the whimpering noise. “Don’t be afraid. We’re friendly.” She sets her staff on the ground in front of her and holds out her hands in a nonthreatening manner. She crouches down slightly to appear even smaller, taking full advantage of her short stature and friendly face, the very things that make her easily underestimated. “We won’t hurt you, I promise.”

I believe Clementine needed to make two attacks against the pendant? Attack: 16 Damage: 11
Attack: 7 Damage: 11 plus 10 psychic damage!
And apologies for the awkward upload schedule I’ll be gone for the next week due to some topsy turvy planning. If the room after Tez’s comes up and I’m not responding feel free to skip me! Thankfully though after this I should be returning to a normal posting frequency.

"So i'm inside this blasted thing?" She thinks as she starts to smell blood, "Well, in that case..." Takes of the amulet, throws it at the ground then stomps on it.

Zuli smiles and laughs a little at the strange hairy substance around her...then quickly stops, realizing that this hasn't improved her situation. She opens the amulet and takes the hair out. Then, not knowing what else to do, she kneels down and bashes the amulet on the ground again and again hoping to break it.
(UndauntedDM, your last post hit me harder than a freight train. As a tiny person I feel called out. And plopped, you're all good! I've actually got one more room, so that might take up the time. Ofc unless someone else has a room that they want to run, then I'm more than happy to pass the baton to the next DM.)
Darklis, the blood red expanse around you seems to shatter like glass as you stomp on it repeatedly.
Clementine (I'm assuming you stab it with your knives), even though the space you're in is quite literally a void with no walls, the second you stab the pendant, the void pops like a balloon. It even makes the same noise.
Zuli, you can feel the hair beneath you grow back into the floor as you take the strand of hair out of the pendant. And when you start bashing the pendant on the floor, it's like you're caught in the middle of an earthquake.
And suddenly, all three of you find yourselves in the original room, with a dead basilisk behind you and a really buff newcomer.
Sadly, Arthilas, Darklis is nowhere to be seen. You don't see her handling a strange object. She is in another... place. Well, was, for all three of your missing companions condense into the material world in front of you.
"Eh? Is it over?" The disembodied voice is no longer disembodied as Quixote pops into view. He was curled up into a ball, with his arms over his head, but now he unravels and turns to face you, Agnomally. "Is it over?Is the..." he waves a hand at the basilisk's body, his face scrunched up in disgust, "the... vaina, the thing dead?"

Zuli sees the basilisk on the floor, "Well rats. I wanted to kill it. ...good job whoever finished it off. Blasted thing got the better of me after all. ...stupid pendant." She kicks the corps then takes notice of Arthilas, "Oh, another one. Well, welcome to the land of never ending annoyances. Best get comfortable because as far as we can tell there isn't an end in sight." She laughs, sounding a little crazy for a moment before regaining her composure. "Anyway, I'm Zuli."

I’m sorry that it made you feel this way. I’m a shorter person myself, and that’s why I play Agnomally- her strength despite underestimation is something I would want to be.
I have a room at some point, if it’s needed!
”I think so!” Agnomally says to Quixote. Then she turns to others. “You’re back! Are you alright? What happened? We killed the thing!”

Don't be sorry!! Please!! I mean that comment as a joke!! I'm saying that I empathize so much with that and I completely understand what that's like. And I absolutely adore Agnomally cause of it!

“I got teleported into a weird void world with the pendant… it was weird. Good job on killing it though! Do you have any bits left?”
I also have another room, mine should be fast.
Then seeing the buff newcomer Clementine introduces herself “Oh! Hello there my name is Clementine, nice to meet you!”
As you push your way through the door you find yourself in a strangely flat clearing in a strangely symmetrical forest. All the trees are equals spaced apart and the ground is perfectly level, with the grass at the same height. In the distance you can hear running water.

Oh, good! I’m glad. :)
Agnomally will start toward the water sounds.
(By the way, can someone remind me of the spell slots/rechargeable abilities/hps rules at new rooms? Agnomally used up all of her 3rd and 4th level slots in the last one)
The spell slot/limited-use ability/HP rules listed in the first post of this thread are as follows:
You regain half of your expended spell slots at the end of every room.
Limited-use racial and class features recharge every other room.
HP is reset every 3 or 4 rooms. (We apparently never came to a definite conclusion on that one.)
I personally think those rules sound just fine.
Oh, I also think that when we level up, all of those things should be reset, no matter where we are in a cycle. Not that that’ll come up very often, but still.

Quixote, still relatively shaken up from the basilisk encounter, stands up and brushes himself off. He walks through the door after Agnomally. Upon initially seeing the forest and clearing, he breathes in and smiles. "Finally, real wilderness." But he takes a second glance at the scenery around him and mutters, "...nevermind, this is just as creepy as the last room." He looks around, trying to see if he can find an exit, or a hint on where to go next. If he doesn't find anything, he'll follow Agnomally to the water sounds.

Wandering through the even woods you never seem to reach the water but eventually you stumble upon a large stone, with a perfectly flat face. Approaching the stone you can read that it is engraved with a list of tasks.
