So it it easy to see we shouldn't expect to hit the TN on an early roll. For this challenge, we needed to roll 709 times to have a 50% chance of hitting the TN before we rolled that many times. But we went past 709 attempts. In fact, we have gone so far past the midpoint, that the chances we would still be rolling after 2000+ attempts is 13.65%.
I am sharing these probabilities because I believe the algorithm has a glitch against top numbers being rolled in consecutive rolls. Since we started rolling 3 dice, the probabilities have exceeded the 50% mark in all except one attempt.
