Well Music said he noticed some probabilities were skewing low. So maybe if the longer a thread goes the harder it becomes to hit it may still be lower despite theoretically being the same.

That's right, statistics seem to show that we need more rolls (than average) when more dice are rolled. Not sure why is that but it doesn't sound good as more dice get more rolls on average already. So we need even more rolls than we should! On the up side, it means we get to keep our thread longer :P
