In utter shock and awe, I am too stunned at this discovery to react. The bomb nails me in the forehead-- "Ouch", I say, going unconscious. However, I have embedded a device into myself, to detect when I'm going unconscious and activate an explosive as a response. I was planning to get rid of it because most of the time it just blew up my bed, but today it shall be used to catastrophic effect.
The explosion from my device combines with the explosion of the bomb, which under normal circumstances would have probably caused it to also explode cause reactions and stuff. However, before Barry Tarry can give in to his explosive nature, his legal advisors emerge from the shadows and hold up a tablet with the very nature of this world. "...on the first second of the 17th of December, the bomb will explode." Barry Tarry, realizing that if he explodes now he will be disassembled for breaking the laws of this reality, is met with a crossroads. Explode, or not to explode. That is the question. Then Shakespeare appears and sues Barry Tarry directly, meaning he has to make a grand escape before he's taken to court. Exploding would leave behind ashes, and those ashes could be brought in a jar to the judge. Instead, Barry Tarry decides not to explode, instead being flung miles and miles by the explosion from my device. This lands him on the top of a train heading towards San Francisco. However, since we are on a forum that doesn't have any set location to follow, "on the top of a train heading towards San Francisco" means about the same thing as "In Link's hands". So he actually lands there.
Sorry, Link. I was unconscious the whole time, I couldn't do anything.

I am on Mars waiting for your throw (shoot is the correct word here, as that is what was originally stated). I then "throw" <-- (clearly quoted in quotation marks in this quote) the bomb back to you.
Barry Tarry gently drifts through space from where gibber threw him, spinning gently as he goes. Now, we all have to take a second here and acknowledge the wording that was used. Bohr originally used the word "shoot" when describing how the bomb got to mars. Now, that could mean that the bomb was traveling extremely fast. However, Gibber used the word "throw", as is highlighted in quotation marks in the quoted quote. But that poses the question. How far can gibber throw?
In dungeons and dragons 5th edition, its clearly stated that oil can be thrown 20 feet and shatters on impact. No clue how oil shatters, though maybe that works if it freezes in space. Its also stated that improvised weapons have a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. However, there are many things we are not accounting for, such as:
The wind speed on mars
the wind speed in space
is the barry tarry an improvised weapon?
does gibber have a larger or smaller throwing distance than the average character?
are we using dnd mechanics?
I set myself the task of finding out.
Originally we planted a tracker on gibber and watched his every single move. However, gibber didn't throw anything other than a tantrum when every single shape in his shape box fit through the square hole.
So we went back to the books. To calculate the horizontal throwing distance (range) of a ball launched from the ground without air resistance, use the formula \(R = \frac{v_0^2 \cdot \sin(2\theta)}{g}\).
This formula helps us a lot.
Moving on clearly gibbers throwing distance is 3 so barry tarry is going to be in space a long time.
Barry Tarry floats through the cosmos between earth and the red planet, staring at the twinkling stars. He slowly freezes over, succumbing to the freezing environmental conditions of space. He floats in space, his frozen outer shell feeling oddly like a tin can, as he stares down, far above the world. Apparently planet earth is blue and there's nothing he can do. Then david bowie flies past in what he likes to call "Doom Zoom" his space ship, and he tells Barry that its illegal to steal his song lyrics referencing planet earth because hes david bowie. David bowie then asks Barry Tarry if hes okay and immediately leaves before barry can give him an answer. Now, you might think this is where it all ends, but as was previously established locations don't exist, so the endless expanse of space is the same as saying under Drummers bed. But im doing a September spring clean which 100% makes sense and find the barry under my bed, secretly gaining information on me for his higher ups like he was trying to do on our cinema date. Man, this guy doesn't give up!
Edit: Got the calculations wrong gibbers throwing distance should be 3.1 I didn't round properly

This is absolute cinema in every way
