I'm stumped. The grammar here is throwing me for a loop. I don't exactly know how to parse it.

I'll leave it for somebody else for a while.

I don't think anybody's gonna be mad if I hop back in. I feel like it's just too abbreviated for me to make sense of it. Let me lay out some longer versions, and you can tell me if any of them have the same meaning.

1) When I'm alone, I am three. When I'm the first of three, I am one.

2) When YOU'RE alone, I am three. When I'm the first of three, I am one.

3) When you're looking at the word "alone," I am three. When I'm the first of three, I am one.

4) When the first of three, I am one, but this is only true when alone I am three.

This feels like an incredible stretch, but... W? It's the only letter with 3 syllables ("alone I am three"), and... Well, the second part, I have nothing. There's the www prefix for URLs, where it would be the "first of three," but that would hardly make it "one."

I don't know. I think I'm going to disagree with the answer to this riddle, lol.

Hm. Yeah, I feel like that second clue isn't quite working. I'll take the win, though I don't entirely feel like I earned it lol.
