First, the book smells quite badly. Secondly, the author has used black ink on black paper, rendering it unreadable. Which is fine, because all that has been written is a diatribe of why the author prefers the lack of color. Perhaps if you splattered some bleach on it than it would make it smell better, and give the pages the look of a star field.
