Rubies follows Deryk and will telepathically ask (using Awakened Mind) "Where are you taking us?"

Deryk ignores the question looking around, " The tinkerer should be here unless he moved his house. "

Rubies laughs to herself lightly at the off-handed comment.

Suddenly the ground starts rumbling and a house appears to be moving back to a plot of land with nothing on it and setting itself down, " Well, here it is. " Deryk says walking to the door and knocking.

An Older looking Gnome answers the door, sees Deryk and immediately shuts the door.

Rubies will telepathically talk to the gnome. "Excuse me sir, can we have your assistance in some matter"

The Gnome shouts, " Go away, I let you in once and you destroyed my life's work! "

Deryk shouts back, " I said I was sorry! And it wasn't my fault your tables are uneven. "

Rubies will continue telepathically "We have magical runes that we need deciphering because one of us almost were captured inside of a Iron Golem. I am not asking you to exactly like or agree with Deryk but will you help us out. We are attempting to help someone find some woman who is MIA at the moment. I understand if you say no but I believe we dont have much time left before our friend also disappears from this/any plane. Would you mind helping us? I will buy you a dinner if you agree." " As long as you keep him away. " The Gnome says pointing at Deryk, " I want nothing to do with him. "

The Gnome walks out in rather normal looking clothes and strangely clean for a tinkerer. 

Rubies greets him formally greets the gnome. "May I ask your name?"

"Don't worry he will not bother you." Rubies gives a hang back a little hand sign to Deryk

The Gnome sighs, " You may call me Mr. Jorpip. Now then, what needs translating? "

Rubies will guide Jorpip to the Golem's corpse. "What got you interested in tinkering, Master Jorpip?"

"w-w-what happened with that golem?" Kreios says, hiding under a table.

it has no actual animation runes siginfying it was built to house an elemental it has control runes which seem like they faded their power away and a strength rune like it and a chain summoning rune and the afformentioned spell runes and most oddly the control runes are keyed to someone who has been dead for 36 years and are not powerful enough to carry commands past the controllers death.
