I'm not very good at world building or working with multiple characters at once, so I've always been too intimidated to join Universe Smorgasbord.
I feel you on that. I think for me it has always been easier to roleplay monsters and gods, and I get more creative with such things then with a somewhat normal person. So a Thread about gods or cosmic being or alien would be far easier for me.
I don’t do RP threads but personally I just never like things where you’re insanely powerful, my favorite levels are 1 - 5, and my absolute favorite is 1 because it’s so dangerous, very exciting.

But they have control over what they hallucinate.... and when.......
They have control on when, correct, but the chosen reading material has control. All they can do is… pick a genre.

I hate reading my work, it’s like reading something I’ve read hundreds of times already, so boring and I wince at every mistake.
Yeah. I read my backstory a month later and I’m like, “this writing is so bad.. I can’t read more then the first sentence without dying.” Granted though I’m still in very late middle school so my writing is definitely worse then all of yours, so it might actually be that bad
