I ran an impromptu DnD session for my dad yesterday.
No one else cared (as in half the other players didn't show up and the other half didn't engage at all under any circumstances and just wanted it over), but he really liked it.
I felt like a terrible DM, but every player that showed up said that it was better than our usual games, so I'm not sure how to feel.
