it may be “easier” but there is a lot lost in online conversations compared to real life ones. There is a reason that we refer to non internet interactions as real life.
Also, as someone with Autism talking online is much more confusing, it’s not so bad but It’s not as good as actual conversations. I also see others who misunderstand texts in a similar or sometimes worse way than I do
