i want the lineage to be a big part of this subclass, so every ability will include it in som way or they get a buff based on it, stuff like that.
Is it designed for playable non-fey races to gain more fey-like abilities or to give any race abilities like typically non-playable fey creatures?

I’m trying to avoid having any of the lineages be Playable races, so i don’t think we should do satyrs, centaurs or fairies.

Darkling could have an ability to do 10-foot radius fire damage (akin to the mushroomy druid's spore damage), sort of like how they burn up when they die.

Current ideas:
Hag: level 1: mimicry, level 3, blindness deafness
pixie: level 1: invisibility, level 3, faerie fire
Sprite: level 1: poison weapons, level 3, detect evil and good
korred: level 1, ability similar to tentacle of the deep
boggle: level 1, boggle portal
That fits well! How about at first level, they get a bonus to AC, and at 3rd level, they can cast something like goodberry or another nature spell. (Spike growth?)

I feel like the boggle at third level should get some oily bonus. Like can excrete sticky or slick oil (maybe they choose one type). Sticky bonus could gain advantage on climb, grapple, and the like? Slick could grant advantage on some dex-related checks (or disadvantage to enemies grappling)?

Alright, lets go with spike growth then.
3rd level, they all get a spell. 1st level they get a unique ability
(they can cast these spells with sorcery points, and get a neat little quirk about it along with it, like shadow sorcerer.
