You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
I have this debate with my friends, and I know lots of people will want to kill me for it, but... Marvel is a ton better than star wars. The characters go so much more in depth, the plot is so much stronger, and the comedy is unparalleled. I love Starwars, but nothing comes close to Marvel.

I'm afraid I cannot agree with you on that one. Star Wars is a modern masterpiece, especially the Original Trilogy. Comedy-wise, I can sort of see where you come from- Star Lord is more funny than Jar Jar, but C-3PO is funnier I'd argue. Star Wars might not go into as much character depth, but that's because the lore is so deep- if one wanted to, one could learn Aurebesh and watch the movies translating all the signs (not that I would ever do that). It's not an opinion I agree with, but it's not like I'm gonna wanna kill you or anything...

Marvel wins character depth and comedy with just Tony Stark.
Star wars has better lore, as Earth is pretty boring. Marvel still does have Asgard though...
Story and plot can be equal between the two of them,
and Marvel is more emotionally beautiful

Very true. Marvel has time travel though, and I sort of have something against time travel. It's like, how are character deaths supposed to be meaningful when you can just go back and undo everything? It's basically a green light to retcon everything
