I've done fried stuff before but I don't think I've specifically done schnitzel. (Usually my fried stuff is just to cut up and pound a couple chicken breasts, dip them in eggs, dip them in panko bread crumbs, and then fry them in a pan.)
On the note of frying things, my grandpa and my fam have a tradition at Christmas where we make these little cookies called fattigman cookies. We make the dough, it's kinda like a sweet flavor with a hint of some kind of spice, and then we roll it into the traditional shape, then throw it in the fryer for a bit, and BOOM, treats
