I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
Guys, I was looking at unearthed arcana, and now humans and tieflings and maybe more humanoids, in 2024 when the new edition of the PHB comes out, humans and tieflings can choose to be either medium or small, because not only do shorter people exist irl, but you can be a kid now, which is cool! It also means if I have a lets say human druid or hunter, they can be a child or little person and ride on the backs of medium animals like tigers

I think it’s mostly an rp choice. If you feel like you envision your character better as being small, now you can make them small.

There are downsides to being small. You can’t use heavy weapons, slower walking speed, and more.
