Fairies are cool, I'm not super into them but they are cool

Ok. There are three types of fairies
Insect-winged fairies: They tend to live in small villages hidden from human sight. This is because some humans hunt down fairies and use their wings to enchant things. Their wings can be that of any flying insect, and that determines what job they would be best at.
Leaf-winged faries live in hollowed out trees filled with whimsically stacked houses. They are fairly technologically advanced in a fantasy way (pulleys, rube goldbergs, etc) because during fall their wings turn brown and crackly and temporarily fall off, leading them to explore more creative ways of movement.
Petal-winged faries are rare drifters and nomads, often regarded as frivoulous
