I probed the mind of an illithid god, got knocked unconscious from the pyscich damage, and one of my party members cut my head off (with my permission! I don't care if people mess with my character, its their character, they can take the actions they want), and then used their hexblade powers to bind me as a specter, so now I have all the specter powers!

Oof lol. My party is 3rd level in CoS, fighting Baba Lysaga and her pet house. One of us has ran off with the gem (a group decision), two are knocked out, and it's just my Wildfire Druid and my friend's Storm Sorcerer fighting the hag and the house.

The first combat in my campaign resulted in 3 gnolls dying and two players nearly dying. One gnoll was conked on the head and is now in a 30-day coma and the other two got roasted by brass Dragonborn fire breath. The players got whacked by a fang of yeenoghu.
