Whenever I sing along to my favorite songs i just end up thinking about how i dont like the way my voice sounds usually
though i still do it with songs that dont have high voice parts
i usually make up harmonies to songs i listen to so i can usually keep it in my range, but i get what you mean.
these allergies however are keeping me from singing so I'm just gonna satisfy myself by joining some new threads

I dont have that bad spring allergies, Winter is the worst for me, but its not that bad. I know it gets pretty extreme for some people
