A blade whose shine glistens with an aura of violence. You have a +2 bonus to your attack and damage rolls with this weapon.
One Thousand Cuts. As an action, you may target a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You instantly appear before the creature and make a flurry of blows against them. The target must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 12d8 slashing damage. On a success they take half as much. This ability can only be used twice, and this item regains use of this effect at dawn.
Proficiency with a longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

It’s a legendary item, meaning they likely won’t get it until late levels. The damage it can do is justified. It could go with only 1 use, but I don’t see any other problems.
