Idea for min-maxing.
Roll 6d6 3 times.
Each group you choose 3 rolls for one stat and 3 for the other.
So if you roll: 6, 6, 6, 3, 2, 1 you could get an 18 and 6 out of that group.
For a test I've got

Definitely an interesting stat spread. (That middle one being a bunch of low dice hurt a little.
