Are you trying this with building a Fiendlock first and then doing more? Since while I don't own Xanathar's DDB seems to be lax about invocations once you use a paid subclass. (My GOOlock can choose Grasp of Hadar. And I've seen a similar thing where a palading couldn't choose Blessed Warrior at level 2, but if I levelled them up to lv3 and went back to change the fighting style I could get it.)

Yep. I raced at a trail that I’ve been riding at since the first time I stepped on a bike, so I’m very proud to say that I placed first. I knew the park like the back of my hand lol. I’ve mostly been spending all my time practicing for the baseball team as well.
