I have been inspired by a random short I found, which was about a pair of deeply southern women gossiping in the politest way possible.
anyways, I’m making a fantasy religion that’s just a semi-secret society of people who’s prayer sessions is just gossiping with their deity and each other, like, ‘Jesus needs to hear about this,’ and they say that they’re praying for the people they’re gossiping about and wishing them good fortune, but they fully know their god does nothing about it.
