Hmm... nature's showers... going to have to agree.
the perfect antidote to arson ^.^
Perfect antidote to being hot, too.
I mean, like, temperature-wise. I don't mean attractive. I never mean attractive when I say 'hot'. Don't know why I get so concerned people will think that's what I mean.

So what I'm hearing is that you meant "hot" as in "attractive" but then wanted to cover your tracks...

WAIT... does that make me a witch? And I don't mean like Hermione.
Technically, anyone can be a witch.
But I mean the ones that people get very very angry at.
Because I am 'familiar' with a 'black cat'. Kind of fits a stereotype...
People usually don't do that anymore. Personally, if anyone tries to burn you at the stake or something, I'll be there with the R I G H T E O U S P O W E R O F G O D to help you.

He both owns a literal Greatsword and has training on how to use it effectively.

Reminds me of three thing I've read about during the 'witch burnings' era of Europe.
First was a case of an Inquistor called to investigate an accusation of witchcraft. Talked with the accused woman and through that learned she just had poor theological formation. (Essentially trying to do things like Anointing of the Sick without being an ordained priest.) So pretty much was a learning experience and nothing further.
Another was a case where accusations were made. Inquisitor investigated, found the accusations to be blatantly false and malicious. And after passing on that information the accused witches were A-OK but the false accusers, um, got executed considering the degree of their false accusations and the possible consequences if they hadn't been found false.
And finally I can't remember who it was. Don't remember if it was one of the saints from that time or just another priest around. But basically writing that the idea of witches that are flying around on brooms was nonsense.

But thanks anyways.
Yeah, that'll do it.
Zweihanders were basically the melee equivalent of a light machine gun: doesn't matter if you kill anyone with it, no one wants to be in range. Big, sweeping area denial. Sure, you could block it, but no one wanted to risk that.
Despite their impracticality, they existed for a good reason.

Very, very interesting.
That sounds like a good character concept: an inquisitor who doesn't burn witches, but instead wields an iron fist and a heavy gavel over the accusers if they happen to be wrong. The idea would be that witches are less dangerous than the common people killing each other on any minor suspicion. Perhaps this inquisitor works with the witches, offering them work as healers and diviners and such.

My Dad is also scary strong. He literally kept a four-wheeler with my 200+ pound grandfather on it from falling backwards off a trailer.
Also: Fair, except I don't think that ANY weapon exists for a 'good' reason.

And the black cat is technically my friend.
