As it happens, there's a thunderstorm overhead just now. I watch as lightning strikes the regrown tree, splitting it in half and granting me just enough time to get my sword back. Now to begin doing what I actually came here to do: I begin funneling multiversal power into my sword. It's time to rend the world in twain!

You start a charge called 'defenses'.

You fail to resurrect the Godmodder, because there is no Godmodder! there's only the Shellmodder and Ghostmodder! You do deal 25 damage to a nearby Nuke Factory, though. You summon an army of undead, and some drow defenses! unfortunately, if you don't say what the defenses are, I can't find out if someone should be able to bypass them, so everything can bypass unwritten defenses and especially any -Modder.
the Bootburners and anti-elves continue to auto-act! 2 bootburners and 1 anti-elf spawn, and they together do 10 damage to the stage, taking 19 retaliatory damage! It looks like they've reached a sort of saturation point: any more elves/burners that spawn will die faster then they come out. not that important, in the scheme of things... the Mr. Potato Men create a very short wall. Really, it's more of a long pile of dirt. it has 2 HP. but it's there! The Godsteel mine fails to locate any Godsteel. The three Darknesses gaze off into the distance. They sense...a potential in the air. perhaps it will be theirs to seize... or perhaps not. Daethedirs entities idle! The Tetrahedral One twirls around and attacks the nonspecific defenses, destroying 13 with its blackness; a sheen of healing light then washes over the Army of Undead, putting to rest all but one! a thin haze of rust-colored mist swirls out of the glass... the Corrupted Rocker Furby Rocks out, doing 20 damage to the Godsteel mine- and killing it, along with the Potato men's wall. The Sixth Regular Polyhedron rolls over to the Bootburners, leaving holes punched into the ground with every turn, and then kills all 6! This consolidates the Anti-Elven forces into a single surviving faction. A God of the MarketPlace discovers stories of a cow with a human face! it must be worth dozens- no, hundreds of actions! the stories say it lives to the north! If only the God of the MarketPlace had enough money... If anyone would fund its expedition, it swears to repay them handsomely! You create The Stump Of Plot Convenience! it has 60 HP. This allows you to pass the disruption... if the stump remains intact! Since the Stump is sort of a part of the charge, the 2 actions used to make it are a part of the charge's progress as long as the stump is alive.

After that, I build a mech with a missile launcher, and summon a magic missile made of magic missiles.

And that's it for the OG side! the NUNDEAD and Tetrahedral One attack the Anti-Elves, killing 2 and nearly killing a third! The Tetrahedral One also heals itself and the NUNDEAD. That which the darknesses sensed continues to hang in the air, moving glacially slowly, to what end they cannot know. The Darkness is content to wait, though it is not content to be content to wait. The Corrupt Rocker Furby Rocks out! again! look, corrupt demon-birds aren't very intelligent. this time, it causes the nonspecific defenses to fall apart and crush the cloning facility, on the assumption that some part of those defenses might've been a rock. The Being Whos Name Must Never Be Said lumbers around aimlessly. The 6th Regular Polyhedron k'shunks itself into the Faithful Dog. this doesn't work very well, seeing as the dog has -33 to incoming damage- a feat only accomplished by way of its complete lack of action capabilities. The God of the Market-Place looks around. Hey! Why isn't anyone giving it money? It'd have an excellent return on investment, they promise! Ok, fine. If you people don't believe the human-cow- Did you know there's a being over level nine thousand? It's in the same direction as the cow, more or less! What's more, they're really stupid! Rend the World in Twain! is at 4/60. If people try to attack she Shellmodder, I find myself back at 2/60. Not fun. So, let's fix this!
I teleport on top of the Shellmodder, at which point I realize that I'm a Descendant! I don't need to worry about silly things like weight! I pick up the entire stump (taking the time to replace it with a non-convenient stump so the Shellmodder doesn't flip as much) and begin running in a random direction, Stump in tow! Anyone who feels like chasing me down (seriously, why?) is going to have to run for a while!

Rend the World in Twain! is at 4/60. If people try to attack she Shellmodder, I find myself back at 2/60. Not fun. So, let's fix this!
I teleport on top of the Shellmodder, at which point I realize that I'm a Descendant! I don't need to worry about silly things like weight! I pick up the entire stump (taking the time to replace it with a non-convenient stump so the Shellmodder doesn't flip as much) and begin running in a random direction, Stump in tow! Anyone who feels like chasing me down (seriously, why?) is going to have to run for a while!

The Sword of Plot Convenience flies out of my hands, stump and all, and flies towards you and, rather than flying into your hand, hits you in the chest and slams you to the ground. I teleport to you, pick up the stump, and teleport back to where I was.
ah-ah-ah! it's the sword of Plot convenience, not the sword of You convenience, now is it? It's going to do something convenient to the plot, not something convenient to your attempts to create it! (Whether or not there is a plot is left as an exercise to the reader.)
The Anti-elves generate, and do 5 damage to the Furby! the Mech idles! the Stump Of Plot Convenience mechanically despawns due to the chargequest it was made to deal with no longer existing. It transfers its 2 Charges to Rend The World in Twain!. The Tetrahedral One heals up the Nuke Factory, kills 3 Anti-Elves, and returns to its original orientation. the Residents attack the Mech, as does the Corrupt Rocker Furby, which just kinda bumps into them repeatedly for 5 damage due to the lack of rocks to ROCK OUT. The 6th Regular Polyhedron attacks the 66HP shield of the Vending Machine, stealing 6x2 HP from it and making a pentagramal shield for itself! The God of the Marketplace changes tack again. Ok, it can see why its earlier suggestions were, uh. unconvincing. Not that it was Wrong! It just understands why everyone had their doubts. But it's got a really reliable lead this time! It thinks that it knows where to find a Deck Of Many Things! It explains that you have to go like, one unit on the W axis instead of an XYZ axis, and then there'll be one within 200 meters of you for suresies. Which... hm. that's actually plausible? The Fractal Mimic collapses from its polyhedral form into a pile of tiny polyhedrons! Bill repairs the 66 HP shield. then he tapes on another one.
The Ghostmodder finishes 'I'll decide on this later'! The Shellmodder plops its rump down. After several days, or more likely minutes, of waiting, the Stump on its head suddenly grows into a tree!

You stick the sword in a huge rock! the hugest rock around, in fact: A giant blackened spike of stone sticking out of the ground! It's very well-grounded, and doesn't sink into the ground at all from the weight! That sure is convenient! ...hm.
With that, I command the potato man army I summoned using my very first turn to attack the shellmodder's tree hat using the weedkiller.
I shoot a some magic missile missiles at the shellmodder! How many? That's up for Joebobobob to decide. As long as it is at least one, I guess.
You complete the Defenses charge! what do you want to do with it? You buy a lot of weedkiller! The Godmodder-Aiding forces already killed your potato men, so you just use it yourself, dealing 23 damage! You then conjure and fire 4 magic missile missiles at the Shellmodder, but they too strike Ligge'Drasil, doing 20 more damage. It's halfway down! Later in the round, you receive the 4 magic missiles the Mech is holding, as it dies. You can now fire them for free at any time!
The Anti-Elves generate, and attack the Furby for 5 damage! The Tetrahedral One and NUNDEAD residents team up to attack the Mech, killing it! its four magic missiles are given to Rosco, due to the mechanics they fall under. Ligge'drasil is healed for 9 HP! The Furby Rocks Out! nothing happens.
the 6th regular polyhedron attacks and destroys the Futility of Dusk! To which the darkness given form responds without delay. It walks forwards, limbs at odd angles. It stands before the polyhedron, lifts an arm, and cuts. It pauses, lifts the other. Cuts. tenses the first arm. Cuts again. swings the second arm again. Cuts. swings again. Cuts. With what seems like great effort, it then draws back the first arm again, and Stabs. then it pulls its arm out, leaving a gaping black hole in the Polyhedron, and shambles away. faint cracking is audible... ...40 damage. a critical hit, due to negative dodge. Somehow... it pierces the pentagramal shield. the God of the MarketPlace half-floats around the battlefield, repeatedly suggesting people go looking for one of the things it said. the Fractal Mimic rebuilds itself! it's now made of... tiny anti-elf dimensional portals? The Nuke Factorys chargeup fills! If it's not killed by next round, it'll generate a nuke! Bill Cipher pulls one of his lines through himself without altering himself by pretending to be a degenerate star polygon and dividing it in two! this conjures an illusory bill cipher which is more real then a mini-bill!

I resurrect the godmodder to do my bidding, but the godmodder is to stubborn and attacks my cloning facility. I summon demogorgon, and demogorgon attacks the godmodder. Unfortunately, a nearby nuclear reactor is hit by one of demogorgon's flailing tentacles and explodes with so much force that both demogorgon and the godmodder are vaporized. Darn it.
I will now summon an army of undead to defend my cloning facility and craft defenses, but since my army is mostly zombies, the defenses they come up with aren’t very good. So I simply employ some drow mercenaries to build my defenses!
I won’t say what they are, but I will say they’re brilliant.

You retrieve the sword and begin funneling "multiversal power" into it! you immediately run into a problem: multiversal power is a lot of power, and energy and mass are equivalent, meaning the sword of plot convenience is quickly becoming too heavy to lift! oh no!
You also obtain 2 more Oak Logs from destroying the tree again
You start a nuke factory! The Ghostmodder glides in and possesses it while the Shellmodder picks it up and moves it; Together, they've taken control of your nuke factory!
you start a mine for Godsteel! unfortunately, there seem to be no veins of Godsteel to be found, possibly because neither steel nor Godmodder Blood are found in mineral deposits in nature, and the Godmodder doesn't bleed often.
You start a charge called 'defenses'.
You fail to resurrect the Godmodder, because there is no Godmodder! there's only the Shellmodder and Ghostmodder! You do deal 25 damage to a nearby Nuke Factory, though.
You summon an army of undead, and some drow defenses! unfortunately, if you don't say what the defenses are, I can't find out if someone should be able to bypass them, so everything can bypass unwritten defenses and especially any -Modder.

It looks like they've reached a sort of saturation point: any more elves/burners that spawn will die faster then they come out. not that important, in the scheme of things...
the Mr. Potato Men create a very short wall. Really, it's more of a long pile of dirt. it has 2 HP. but it's there!
The Godsteel mine fails to locate any Godsteel.
The three Darknesses gaze off into the distance. They sense...a potential in the air. perhaps it will be theirs to seize... or perhaps not.

Not quite. (Spoilers ahead for anyone who wishes to play, or are early on in, the game Hollow Knight)
I dream of the Dreamers from Hollow Knight, who sealed away The Hollow Knight in The Temple of the Black Egg to stop The Radiance from taking over Hollownest. I dream that it may be possible to do this, but 3 people would have to give up their lives if this were to work. And hope no one has a dream nail.
Remembering this idea, I wake up from my sleep. I know what I must do. I’m also the most well-rested person in every timeline in the universe, and win a medal for it.

Either way, I use one of my pieces of Oak Wood to make a stump that WON'T grow into a tree, and stick the heavy Sword of Plot Convenience into it. Once it's actually time to rend the world in twain, the plot will conveniently allow me to lift the sword. In the meantime, though, I'm keeping it here, in the stump, for safekeeping.

After that, I build a mech with a missile launcher, and summon a magic missile made of magic missiles.

You have a dream which contains an idea! You are also the most well-rested person, ever, which gives you a medal. This medal is the more powerful of the two effects due to it both being the culmination of your various rests, limbering, and so on, and also because it got a humour multiplier. You got The Medal Of Rest, which contains immense mystical powers! the most obvious is that your Well-Rested state will now never go away naturally, and will regenerate if it ever goes away without requiring sleep, but it seems like it has others...
You tell the Godmodder this story! The Godmodder drowns in tears. Meanwhile, the Ghostmodder is distracted, and the Shellmodder can't understand you, leaving both unharmed.
You create The Stump Of Plot Convenience! it has 60 HP. This allows you to pass the disruption... if the stump remains intact! Since the Stump is sort of a part of the charge, the 2 actions used to make it are a part of the charge's progress as long as the stump is alive.
You continue the defenses charge! I don't have any challenges for it, because it's too nonspecific for me to come up with any for it.

the NUNDEAD and Tetrahedral One attack the Anti-Elves, killing 2 and nearly killing a third! The Tetrahedral One also heals itself and the NUNDEAD. That which the darknesses sensed continues to hang in the air, moving glacially slowly, to what end they cannot know. The Darkness is content to wait, though it is not content to be content to wait. The Corrupt Rocker Furby Rocks out! again! look, corrupt demon-birds aren't very intelligent. this time, it causes the nonspecific defenses to fall apart and crush the cloning facility, on the assumption that some part of those defenses might've been a rock.
The Being Whos Name Must Never Be Said lumbers around aimlessly.
The 6th Regular Polyhedron k'shunks itself into the Faithful Dog. this doesn't work very well, seeing as the dog has -33 to incoming damage- a feat only accomplished by way of its complete lack of action capabilities.

Then, just in case it's spelled different, they also say Zanthar, Xcsanthar, Ksanthar, Santhar, Zantar, Zahnthar, and a few other spellings besides. Xanthar... does nothing. Suddenly, the Inter-Dimensional Elephant, Demogoblin and Steve all vanish from existence! That sure was some name! or maybe the Ghostmodder just did that himself. We may never know.

Rend the World in Twain! is at 4/60. If people try to attack she Shellmodder, I find myself back at 2/60. Not fun. So, let's fix this!
I teleport on top of the Shellmodder, at which point I realize that I'm a Descendant! I don't need to worry about silly things like weight! I pick up the entire stump (taking the time to replace it with a non-convenient stump so the Shellmodder doesn't flip as much) and begin running in a random direction, Stump in tow! Anyone who feels like chasing me down (seriously, why?) is going to have to run for a while!

None of these actions are check-based. The Medal of Rest has metal print on the back saying 'The Medal Of Rest grants perpetual Well-Restedness to the bearer, up to the highest level they have ever reached. Only the worthy may use the medal of rest. Wearing the medal signifies ones dominance over all other resters and the concept of rest itself by way of excessive resting, and has other effects as well. If you are not and have not ever been the most well rested person in the history of ever, wearing the Medal knowingly will make you tired instead.'.

Anyway, you decide to ignore the weight! this, as a method of Chargequest-conquering, falls under 'brute force'; instead of addressing the problem, you said 'oh that's not a problem', and instead of a clever reason why, you said 'I'm a being of this type, so I don't care about weight'. It allows you to get other chargequests, but doesn't give you the chargequest bonus.

the Stump Of Plot Convenience mechanically despawns due to the chargequest it was made to deal with no longer existing. It transfers its 2 Charges to Rend The World in Twain!.
The Tetrahedral One heals up the Nuke Factory, kills 3 Anti-Elves, and returns to its original orientation. the Residents attack the Mech, as does the Corrupt Rocker Furby, which just kinda bumps into them repeatedly for 5 damage due to the lack of rocks to ROCK OUT. The 6th Regular Polyhedron attacks the 66HP shield of the Vending Machine, stealing 6x2 HP from it and making a pentagramal shield for itself! The God of the Marketplace changes tack again. Ok, it can see why its earlier suggestions were, uh. unconvincing. Not that it was Wrong! It just understands why everyone had their doubts. But it's got a really reliable lead this time! It thinks that it knows where to find a Deck Of Many Things! It explains that you have to go like, one unit on the W axis instead of an XYZ axis, and then there'll be one within 200 meters of you for suresies. Which... hm. that's actually plausible?

At the QM pointing out that my ignoring the weight is a non-solution, I keel over, overwhelmed by the weight! Clearly, the Sword of Plot Convenience does not think this is my style. Neither do I, to be honest. Fortunately, I've ignored the weight for juuust long enough that I'm now at a safe distance! With that in mind, I leave the sword where it is and prepare to defend it! Later in the round, you receive the 4 magic missiles the Mech is holding, as it dies. You can now fire them for free at any time!
The Anti-Elves generate, and attack the Furby for 5 damage!
The Tetrahedral One and NUNDEAD residents team up to attack the Mech, killing it! its four magic missiles are given to Rosco, due to the mechanics they fall under. Ligge'drasil is healed for 9 HP!

I sit down, and as I do this, shadows start getting pulled towards me as I summon the Scimitar of Darkness
I then make a stabbing motion into the ground so that I don’t have to keep the scimitar on me as it is summoned.
Finally, I cast True Polymorph on the Godmodder to make it(?) into the Stay Puft™ Marshmallow Man. Because who doesn’t like marshmallows?
