 Well, there are pros and cons to both possibilities.
For instance, a sword made of pure darkness may well vanish- temporarily or forever- in sufficiently strong lighting. even if temporary, the sudden loss of a weapon can be... problematic. how do you intent to handle that?

Anti-Elves spawn. Attack Furby. Charger gains health. Charges. Residents, tetrahedral one, rocker attack elves. Kill 5. Tetrahedral one makes EoRR succinct. Fractal mimic spawns elves. Seashelders attack bunker. 5 damage.

The Godmodder looks around. Another turn composed entirely* of charging?  Well! The Godmodder'll see to it that that doesn't keep happening! He decides to charge a Tax on charging acts via Charging Attacks! To do this, he rifles through his pockets and pulls out a Minotaur mask which is way too big to have fit in there, and put it on! Then he lowers his head and charges straight towards Memer_Asriel! Don't be fooled by his straightforwards trajectory, though: The Godmodder is planning to charge, and charge at, at everyone who charges, as many times as they charge, within a single turn!  Easy enough, since there're only three of you and more minutes in a turn then charges. Any charge which doesn't manage to deal with his charge will be charged 0.25 charges!
*Technically, it's not 'another' turn because last turn had the eating of cheeseburgers, but saying 'a turn composed entirely of charging after a turn which contained only charge or non-battlefield low-interaction actions' doesn't quite roll off the tongue, now does it?

Second, in case that doesn't work, I pull out the world's largest red blanket and throw it in a direction away from my Sword of Plot Convenience, so that if he's still charging, he'll charge the red blanket instead.

 You charge, then steal the Godmodders credit card! unfortunately, he has just maxed it out, so what you've stolen is debt! Then, you throw a red blanket away from the sword! The Godmodder charges straight into the blanket, which blinds him until your charge is over and cannot be charged!

 You call upon dark clouds to cover the sky, solving the problem of darkness! you may either choose a +1.6 charge boost, or a pseudo-random sky-related bonus for the Scimitar! the bonus will be more powerful, but you can't control it if it's what you choose.

The Darkness Given Form gazes aimlessly up at the sky. Almost Halloween again... So its already been a year. how time passes... but how much has changed, in all this time?... next to nothing, it thinks, or at least feels. next to nothing. what a fool it was to expect otherwise.
The Auto-charger charges! since it's not charging acts- its only action is charging- the Godmodder does not preform a charging attack on it.
The Residents and Tetrahedral One attack the anti-elves and down 4, plus hitting 1 for 2 damage! The Tetrahedral one then pours some more blood over the spike, and... huh. Could've sworn the earlier clots were at eye-level, but the new coating is only bringing them down to it now. odd. The Corrupt Rocker Furby is rockin' out as usual.
The fractal mimic spawns new AG-elves and absorbs them, along with another 2 preexisting ones! Having passed 200%, it splits in two!
 the Seashelders kill 1 Anti-elf!
The Godmodder checks his pockets. Only 0.75 charges in taxes? Then the Godmodder realizes: his own charging attacks to charge a tax on charging acts were, themselves, charging acts! The Godmodder starts running in circles to try to charge at, and attack, himself! The Godmodder is so fast that, after a few seconds of a run-up, he succeeds! The Godmodder running so fast creates a shockwave of displaced air, killing two unfortunate anti-elves! not only that, but the Godmodder taxed his own charges, creating a monster made entirely of solid taxes! The Godmodders charges, of course, are of a far higher quality then the charges of players, and will regenerate to full in another round or two without the Godmodder needing to intervene. his actions done, the Godmodder stretches and prepares for another round of Charging Attacks! looks like he hasn't been dissuaded by the low yield from charging at players...

 Your charge counter already included then +0.8 from the quest, which was what mitigated then 0.75 charge tax, so the .8 part of .85 was invalid.
The Godmodder proceeds to do his standard-issue charging attack to charge a tax, taking another 0.75! Remember, countering these is a free action if you can figure out a way to do it in the process of your charge!

The Godmodder listens to you complain, then shrugs. Ok, he'll bug off. He places a bunch of spy equipment all over OFF, the game! Say, that gives him an idea... Anyway, to things with mechanical significance! the Godmodder is completely distracted by the SUPERCHARGE and charges at it! he then metaphysically suplexes it into the Taxman, supercharging them! your charge progresses.
The Anti-Elves spawn, and kill 1 AG elf and do 5 damage to the Furby! 
The Darkness given form suddenly gains double its previous health. ...what? (this does not affect its visible listing because it's an image to maintain the shadow/glow, and that's a pain to edit.)
The Auto-charger- well, it's in the name, innit?
The combined efforts of the tetrahedral one, seashelders, tartarus residents, and furby destroy the Bunker! The Tetrahedral one glares at its own evidently dwindling action-count, but to no avail. The Taxman... procrastinates! next round, its non-procrastination actions get double power, and will actually happen!  Except... the Godmodder supercharged it! It procrastinates four times as hard! the non-procrastination actions will not only be doubled, but will happen twice!

The Godmodder is getting kind of bored of charging attacks at everyone all the time, so he puts the taxes he got this round into giving the Taxman more Tax Powers to Tax people! for now, though, the Godmodder keeps going! Remember, you can counter the charge without an action as long as your counters make sense for Your charge

I am infuriated by the godmodder’s constant taxing, and so I cast lightning bolt at it three times in a row. The godmodder must make three DC 17 dex saves, taking 29 lightning damage on one fail, 70 lightning damage on two fails, and 73 lightning damage on three fails. Also, consider me steamed, angry, ticked off, infuriated.

Yay, it’s almost Halloween! Obviously the powers of Darkness given Form and other Darkness things increase and we have no idea of the consequences of that, but let’s not worry about that...yet.

Anyway, I’m going to distract the Godmodder by quickly setting up a cool Dark Show. It’s just a laser show but with Dark Lasers instead of normal ones. Nevertheless, it’s still the first one ever, and when a person from Guinness World Records comes charging at me to give me the First Ever Dark Show record, the Godmodder is distracted with their charging that I charge behind his back!

Alright, this time I'm just going to charge and accept the tax. I lean against the obsidian spike and wait for the Godmodder to charge me. Suddenly, the obsidian spike gives out from under me and moves over a few feet, just enough to keep out of the Godmodder's range! I fall over! I did not see that coming... but I guess it was pretty convenient!

 Zzzzap! But Ligge'drasil is bodyguarding the Godmodder! on the other hand, it has a difficult time doing this, seeing as Ligge'Drasil is a tree, and the Godmodder isn't actually inside it any more. Because of that, your attack deals an extra 33% damage, killing Ligge'drasil! The Godmodder calmly avoids the remnants of the bolt(s) by jumping so he isn't a route into the ground.

 You successfully distract the Godmodder, allowing your charge to continue unabated!  Also, I think you didn't notice the chargequest completion earlier- its reward was that you can either choose a +1.6 charge boost, or a pseudo-random sky-related bonus for the Scimitar! the bonus will be more powerful, but you can't control what it is if you choose it.

 The spike gives out from under you... but this means it's no longer attached to the extremely extensive portions beneath the earth! The moved portion of the spike gives out, no longer well-anchored enough to hold the incredibly heavy Sword Of Plot Convenience! oh no! 
You avoid the Godmodders Charging Attack, but now you have a new problem to solve! not only that, but later in the round, the Tetrahedral One pours more blood all over the spikes new location, which begins to bubble and steam ominously!

The Anti elves generate, attack, kill 2 7-health AG-elves.
The Darkness given form seems to be pondering something. solid blackness coils around it, rigid and flexible at once- like a stick which is a straight line, but snaps easily in whichever spot is needed to curve. likewise with the two other facets.
The Auto-charger auto-charges! The Residents, Tetrahedral One, Furby, and Seashelders attack and kill the prismatic wall.
The Taxman uses Procrastination to make the Tetrahedral one not procrastinate, forcing it to use a second of its actions it couldn't get itself to! Blood pours onto the ground, fitting for the season, and drips over the relocated obsidian spike. it begins to burn...
Then, the Taxman uses Ducks! It summons two ducks and throws them at Daethdir, then swings its hands over then a few times! wait... now these aren't ducks! these ducks... are Geese! really, really horrible geese! They're not that durable, but they're a pain in the arse!
Lastly, it uses Witchcraft Taxing! Creating a sword out of pure darkness sounds like a lot of witchcraft, isn't it? That needs to be Taxed! The Auto-charger suddenly loses 16 HP! If it didn't have that forcefield, it'd be almost dead...

The Godmodder puts down his pentagramal shield for a second, and uses it as a focus to absorb the abstract concept of Halloween straight out of the air. Last Halloween event took five months, we're not going through that again, no sirree bob. The Godmodder pockets the abstract concept of Halloween and then realises this took his action, so he can't do a charging tax this round. Well, the Taxman sort of had that covered, anyway.

Oh no! There's not enough anchoring! Wait -  I can fix this!

I pull out a Bag of Holding and pull a bunch of anchors out of it. I then begin tethering those anchors to the huge obsidian spike until it stops falling over. I then scurry up the obsidian spike and begin blowing on the new batch of blood with a huge fan!  That should hopefully keep the blood from doing anything ominous...

I shall take the random bonus, just so that the Scimitar of Darkness is even more powerful. I don’t really care what that bonus is, but it’s probably better than the +1.6 boost thing.

Anyway... IT’S HALLOWEEN! I start by showing the Taxman to a spot a couple yards away where a bunch of witches are doing an ominous ritual. That should keep him distracted for a bit. Now, as a free action to distract the Godmodder, I create, with my Sugar Highness, The NEVER ENDING CANDY SUPPLY! It generates candy at a rate of 20 candy per round, and is completely magical. And no, I am not using portals to connect to major candy makers and stealing their newly-made candy. Because that’s just mean.

I use my other two actions (since diverting the Taxman’s gaze was my first action) to charge. The Darkness Given Form has been doing something...
